History
Established in 2009
We opened our first Marz store located at 1750 Steeles Ave West in Concord, Ontario.
After a successful start we realized that we needed more space, so our Steeles Ave store expanded in size to serve our customers better and provide the variety of desired products to meet our customer's needs.
Before we knew it we continued to grow and a second location was the best way to go. The City of Hamilton became our second home.
Marz Hamilton opened across the street from the Centre Mall, at easy to find, 1090 Barton Street East @ Ottawa St.N.. The store was acceptable to start out / get our name out there to the public. We grew faster than expected and needed more space and to serve our customers better. We decided to find a new home for Marz Paint. I believe we achieved our goal with our New Location at 351 Main Street East. At the corner of Main and East Avenue. Conveniently located in Central Hamilton. With a large showroom, & plenty of free parking
Meet the Business Owner: Belinda R.
My name is Belinda and I have been in the painting and decorating business for over 10 years now. I started out working at Colour your World on Concession and then moved to the Glidden Store on Upper James -after a buy out. As time passed on -I got asked to -Transfer to an ICI store in Oakville on Speers Road to revamp/update it. Years later, I returned to school and got my Interior Design at Mohawk College. Started out with Marz Paint part time and then I guess I found my calling.. I enjoyed it so much I bought into the company and here I am today.
I am a wife, mother of 2 teenage daughters. I love every aspect of design. Whether it be choosing the colours or picking out the accessories. I believe the job is forfilling in so many ways, especially the finally outcome/ the reveal and the customers - look of amazment. That is the reward.
