OMG, awesome Southern Style, Soul Food restaurant!!! I am so excited we found this little gem.
The staff was wonderful and the meals were mega tasty (though you felt your arteries hardening). It was great having homemade mac and cheese without the actual effort of making it yourself.
I had the barbeque chicken meal with breast meat. Little did I know it was deep fried THEN barbequed. OMG so good, but oh so guilty afterwards. I had the mac and cheese which was really good and yams. Oh so awesome. Came with corn bread too.
It was a diner setting and the booths were amazing. There was a counter to sit at and the back had some tables.
We got there a little late so we didn't want to order dessert because I'm sure the folks working wanted to go home. Next time we'll get there early so we can try the sweet potato pie!
