Great little shop- they have recently added so many new yarn types, and the prices are quite good- the staff is freindly and helpful too.I highly recommend going here-the place has changed a lot ,so much variety now, lots of funky new stuff too!
Oh- they still have a lot of great needle choices, and I heard recently they are getting in sock machines....woohoo! -

I went in here after work looking for a looming hook, and found them very very helpful. The woman working there gave me a list of websites to check out and even one that she decibed as the fb for knitters http://www.ravelry.com. I felt really silly at first not really knowing what type of yarn I needed other then " chunky" but even other customers helped me find the one that would make me a cute hat. Im still confused on how to make this hat, and really have no idea what yarns are better for what just yet but im sure with the list of sites they gave me ill figure it out soon enough.

After reading Yelp reviews, I stopped by on my lunch to get a crochet needles and ogle the stock. They have pretty decently priced yarn and a good selection of pattern books and crafting accessories.
I did get a little dreamy in the clearance yarns section. Skeins of silk for $4 each? If I didn't have to rush back to work, I would've taken them all with me.
Since this location is closer to home, I may come here more often. -

This little store in the Yonge Eglinton Center is useful for midtown knitters who don't want to go all the way downtown to the more "hip" knitting stores.
I got some great customer service there, where they special ordered a knitting pattern book for me and called when it came in. There definitely isn't the type of attitude I've come across in other yarn stores.
They carry other craft supplies too, like beads. It reminds me a bit of the old Lewiscraft mall stores, except with more knitting stuff. -

Not world's biggest selection, but relatively inexpensive and covers a good range. I love the sale racks at the back corner of the store; I've picked up some very expensive and pretty novelty yarns for two or three dollars a skein.

this is a great store for acrylic yarns and some craft supplies. don't come here for high end, though. i like to come up here when i'm having a yarn craving but don't want to spend much. the selection isn't as good as a craft store like michaels, but i happen to be a big fan of the mary maxim brand acrylic yarns.
