Located inside the Epcor Centre, the Martha Cohen theatre provided a nice venue for a recent showing of Heartbreaker. The theatre itself is made up of the main floor and 2 tiers of seats, with only a couple of rows in the first and second tier that wrap around the edges of the room. It makes for a good vantage point of the stage from just about any seat.
Our seats were in Tier 2, Centre. We had an excellent view of the stage, the only trouble was not having enough leg room between the banister and my knees. Next time I'm going without heels.
I loved how the entire theatre was done as a split-level. The reception area was separated from the coat check by a set of stairs, as was the entrance into the theatre.
The acoustics were fresh and clear. All in all, it made for a good play watching experience. If you've got long legs, do your best to sit on the main floor. You might be more comfortable there.
