Not being a sports bar person, I can't say whether this is a good one or not, except that wherever you sit, you can always see a couple of TVs. It seems noisy enough to be exciting, but not so noisy as to be distracting.  Staff is helpful and fun. It's cool because Brad Marsh really did have a serious NHL career, and you can often see him looking after things at his restaurant.  Also, he'll give everybody at your table a 5 dollar coupon on those rare (!) nights that the Sens score 5 goals.

I have had a number of things on the Marshy's  menu - some good, some average, but one item, the Top Shelf Burger,  keeps my  middle-aged mom self coming back.  Although Marshy's cannot get around the Canadian federal edict that all hamburgers must be overcooked, the meat in Marshy's burgers is still juicy.  The best part of the Top Shelf Burger is the toppings : onions, cheese, fresh dill pickle, barbecue sauce, lettuce, and -- wait for it -- a big handful of breaded onion rings and jalapeno peppers.

This is truly a guilty pleasure burger, the kind you have to squish down with two hands to fit in your mouth.  Wet and drippy over top of a plate of sweet potato fries  (you could also have it with caesar salad but don't pretend the salad provides any health or caloric benefits, it is a just big garlicky receptacle for burger drippings).

Since you're already consuming about 10,000 calories with the burger, you might as well have a beer with it as well.  Do this a couple times a year (but only a couple).  It's okay, somebody's mom said you could.

This is Marshy's second location. The first location is located at Scotiabank place and this second location kind of acts as home base for the Marshy's operation. While the other location is an event restaurant, the Centrepointe location is open normal restaurant hours, which also means it has some differences. It's a smaller place to start off with. Recent renovations have made the restaurant smaller, but also more manageable. There was a side that was original dedicated to teams and parties but that has been slimmed down. Since it is located in a residential area with a few office buildings around, there is a lunch rush here. They also get busy on Senator away games and when events are going on at the Centrepointe Theatre which is just two minutes away by foot. The food is good, traditional burgers, wraps, nachos etc. In comparison to the SBP location, it is a bigger menu with more options. The same holds true with the bar. Even though it is still primarily Molson, they have a few more options. This is a great place for team get together, or for groups of people.
