Review from C E.
Hotel was wonderful! Staff was kind, knowledgeable, thoughtful and very friendly! (especially two women at front desk and two men at the concierge desk) We arrived at 9am on two separate visits and our rooms were already clean & ready. Lobby is lovely especially with holiday decorations and rooms were neat and tidy. Fantastic location just outside gate to old quebec. Also with beautiful skating rink across the street. Overall 10+ experience!

Probably the best chain hotel for visiting Old Quebec and surprisingly decent for a Courtyard Marriott. The only thing separating the hotel from the gates of the old city is a small skating rink, at the time decorated for Christmas with a metal Christmas tree light up in changing waves of light. The breakfast rate seemed too expensive so we ventured elsewhere not too far past the gates.
There are two cozy fireplaces in the lobby and there are friendly staff including concierge through second shift which was super helpful and unexpected. We utilized their services several times. We had to push them a bit sometimes as the inclination is to send to typical tourist restaurants/bus tours and well... we have better taste than that.
If you cross the highway the oldest grocery store in North America is nearby to stock your empty mini fridge. On the way is the SAQ. there's another SAQ in the Fairmont but this is closest.
The rooms are typical Marriott: boring, senior citizen style but clean.
Might be good for Carneval (the Hilton's the closest to the festival but this is a good compromise just down the hill towards the old city). -

This is one of the better Couryard Marriott Hotels. The location is great. It is located really close to the entrance of Old Quebec City. Not only is the location great, the hotel and rooms are very clean.
Our room has a maybe a 40" to 42" flat screen TV, refridgerator, and a complimentary wi-fi connection that seems to be pretty good. Unfortunately, they don't provide a safe or microwave in the room. Valet parking is provided for an extra $20.00 per day. The front desk girl, whose name is Kim was very friendly and helpful.
I would definitely stay here again, if I came back to Quebec City. -
Review from Ben S.
If you aren't looking for the unique quirks of a bed & breakfast, or you don't want to commit fully to a specific neighborhood to stay in within Quebec, this is a very solid option. The price isn't specifically cheap, but you'll be at the St. Jean gate entry to upper and lower Old Town, right on Place D'Youville, within a very pleasant walk of Battlefields Park and other areas of downtown. The concierge staff was impeccable and all the staff we encountered were friendly and eager to help. Our accommodations were up-to-date, comfortable, and came with a wonderful view of Old Town and the St. Lawrence. I would gladly stay here again in future returns to the city.

Review from Bill F.
This Marriott is located just outside the walls and was a perfect location to access the Old Town (Upper and Lower) and the restaurants along Rue St. Jean. The concierge--Xavier--gave excellent recommendations. The rooms were clean and well-appointed. This was much nicer than the typical Marriott Courtyard, and for the price I recommend staying here highly!

Review from K.C. K.
This Courtyard by Marriott is reasonably priced, clean, and in a fantastic location just outside the gates of the Old City. Staff were friendly and the rooms are nicely sized. That being said, the beds are SO. UNCOMFORTABLE. I'm usually not bothered by a firm mattress but I woke up with an aching back every morning. Also, $15 for breakfast seems a bit high -- we went to a local bakery down the street instead.
