short review - tasty savoury and sweet crepes, pleasant service, great location... try this place out for lunch/brunch!
long review - came here quite recently after having seen it after a night of drinking (it is beside stobie's after all) and having made a mental note to try it out in the daytime. came away very impressed with the crepes.
i ordered two crepes for myself, i wasn't sure about how big they were going to be, and for less than 5 dollars each i figured i might as well try a couple. i got the green avocado crepe and the sausage and cheese crepe, while my girlfriend got the omelet crepe. the crepes came with soup (that was the special deal for that day), and each one was made fresh by the owner while we sat at the window counter and watched people strolling on richmond street.
when they arrived i was very pleased with the crepes - both were large enough to be meals on their own, and were stuffed with a good mix of ingredients. the crepe itself was thin and had a very pleasant sweetness to it. all three crepes were a solid 4/5 stars of deliciousness, with each one just a short step away from perfection (eg a little to much garlic in my avocado crepe, the sausage crepe was a little too dry). the owner recommended that we try her homemade lemonade, and it was very refreshing.
summary - i would definitely come back here to try out the sweet crepes, and i wish this place was open even later than it is - one of these savoury crepes would be a fantastic after-bar food. it would be nice if they didn't serve everything on disposable plates and plastic forks, but i guess with seemingly only one person running the counter it didn't make sense to do dishes as well. -

We came today for their sweet crepes and were quite excited after the reviews we heard. However, it was an overall very disappointing experience. We ordered the Caramel Apple Crunch waffle and hot chocolate and found it to be a sub-par experience overall. The waffle itself was not sweet, and was actually quite bland. It was much smaller than expected (though it may look larger in pictures), and overall felt like it was missing something. The caramel sauce also left lots to be desired, though we had to add lots more sauce to the waffle for it to resemble anything remotely tasty. Finally, the hot chocolate tasted like a watered down version of Carnations Hot chocolate. Overall we were quite let down by the experience.
