Location is the best part - it's right there in the Casino. Also, you can use your points to claim a free buffet. But how is the food? Definitely not worth the price they charge. I would pay maybe $10 for their dinner buffett. The selection is poor, and the quality is poor. Come here if you are in the casino and you don't want to venture too far to eat. But its one of the worst buffets I've eaten at ever.

I guess I am spoiled by Las Vegas where Casino buffets (from Bellagio to MGM to Circus Circus) are always good to excellent to fabulous!
I didn't Yelp this place, so on the last day in Niagara Falls with several hours to kill we went at 3:00pm thinking we would fill ourselves up for $12/ea, but it was All You Can Eat Dinner All Day because of Canadian Thanksgiving (10/10) at $17/ea. The cashier said "everything is out today, two carving stations, sushi, seafood".
Seafood consisted of cocktail shrimp and the sushi was a SINGLE veggie maki roll that looked hard like a ROCK. Carving station was dried out ham and the beef was too lean. The au jus and gravy where both very flavorless - how can gravy be bland?!? Honey glazed chicken wings were the smallest wings/drumlets you will ever see; perhaps it was pigeon wings?!? Salad consisted of days old bagged greens that WERE NOT picked - meaning spoiled pieces were mixed in. YUCK!
Food overall was worst than a "bad Chinese buffet"...yes it was that bad.
Nothing was memorable nor good for seconds. -

This place was weak sauce. The casino is literally a stone's throw away from the Falls, so it was convenient. You take the elevator up to the main floor from Maid of the Mist Marketplace, maybe 5 minutes if you know where you're going.
Lunch was $13.95. I expected a hell of lot more for that price. There were three stations. One was Chinese food, one was American (fries, potatoes, meat), one was "comfort food" (which didn't look appetizing at all). That's it. Usually in a buffet, they have a huge selection, but this was so limited and disappointed. They did have a decent salad/fruit selection.
Best part of the casino: They have amazing penny games and a lot of them. I know it has nothing to do with the buffet... They did have an amazing apple crumble which was even more amazing with ice cream. Other than that, I'd pass for a real meal. -

if its one thing that americans do better than any other nation, its to build an amazing buffet.
i'm can't say the canada shares that same sentiment.
save your money and go to a regular restaurant. go for quality, not quantity. or at least not HERE. -

Pay me and I still won't eat here. The food is so weak. If you really want to eat they have better food at the sports bar. Try Lucky's steakhouse on the second floor and you will thank me for reading this post.

The buffet is something that I consider one of my guiltiest pleasures. I know that as someone who claims to love good food I should avoid buffets like the plague, but I don't. There is just something so tempting about complete choice for three courses that keeps me coming back. Which is why it pains me so much to think about how far the Casino Niagara Market Buffet has fallen. Casino's are theoretically the best places to find a buffet, but this one is a poor example of the culinary style. The buffet is actually rather small, with a salad bar, main course section and a tiny desert section. The salads are disappointing, in the main course section you can choose from over-cooked chicken, beef or pork and pizza. The desert area is pitiful, but does have one saving grace and that is the sticky toffee pudding. I had never had sticky toffee pudding and so I don't know how it's supposed to taste but the one they have at the Market Buffet is incredible. Imagine a cake version of the center of a Skor bar and you are close. Unfortunately this one thing isn't enough for me and so I wouldn't recommend the Market Buffet to anyone other than the hardcore gambler looking for something quick to eat before getting back to the tables.

2.5 stars. below is a summary:
$16.95 for dinner is fine, but 12% tax? I feel bad for canadians if they have to pay that much on everything
- Potato Cheddar Soup - 2.5 stars (potato cheddar is supposed to be a chowder and not a soup, so it felt way too watery than what it was supposed to)
- Cheese Canneloni - 2.5 stars (ingredients were put together, but flavor was plain, and lacking)
- Fried Rice - 2 stars (tasted ok, but it tasted pretty similar to uncle ben's)
- Meatloaf + Mashed Potatos - 3.5 stars (good because i've been craving meatloaf for 2 years now and I like mashed potatoes)
- Corn - 2 stars (pieces of corn were bigger than I've seen before, so I expected something good. Didn't even taste like corn)
- Salad - 4 stars (the best item at a buffet for me is the salad...mmmm mmmmm)
- Pizza - 2.75 stars (It's hard for me to rate pizza low because it takes a lot for me to not enjoy it. This was cheap oven baked frozen pizza that had probably been sitting under the heading lamp for over 3 hours)
- Oatmeal Raisin Cookie - 4 stars (if you can't get this right, you shouldn't be baking anything)
- Lemon Tart - 2.5 stars (I was tricked. I don't like anything citrus, but since this had coconut sprinkles on it, I thought it was a coconut pastry and bit into the damn lemon....it was ok, but not my flavor. 2 stars are just for the coconut)
Black Forrest Cake - 3.5 stars (same as it is anywhere else, except the cherries were not as fresh as they should have been. still was good)
Ice Cream - 4 stars (one scoop vanilla, one scoop chocolate, marshmellows, chocolate syrup)
Service here was ehhhhh. the only responsibilities he had were clean used plates off of tables, and get drinks for customers. One of the people I was with ordered water w/ no ice and guess what came out with the water?....yep, 2 stars for server
