Maritime Beauty Supply has been a life saver for me. They carry all the brands I like and it has a friendly staff that will assist you, no problem.
You can only go here if you have a license (hairdresser). I like the fact they carry Aveda products as well (makeup). I always like the lip liner they have.
You can pretty much get everything here. -

Maritime Beauty is a location that will sell wholesale to hairdressers with their license. Great friendly staff that are always ready and willing to help you.
Located on Barrington street the is plenty of parking right out front. I love going here when the sales are on. They have many different product lines from Redken being the most popular to Bed Head to name some.
On the esthetics's side they have OPI as the main polish of choice but have actually brought on a new line which I am not familiar with. All the tools of the trade to get you started with manicures and pedicure's do not want to mention prices as this is wholesale and everyone would know the mark up on these products.
All I can say is thank goodness I maintained my license. -

I understand that this store supplies professionals in the service industry of health and beauty at whole sales prices. I called up ahead of time and confirmed that I can shop there as a massage therapist.
I went in today and opened up my account and was told that I cannot buy gallons of shampoos (only personal use sizes) or any hair chemical products and that was fine with me.
I went in and picked up 2 regular size Moroccan oil hair products for my own personal use and went to check out.
At the check out and in front of other customers I was told I could not buy Moroccan oil and she refused to sell it to me!!
Not only was I insulted but I was embarrassed as the other customers behind me in line looked at me like I was committing some crime.
So, I left and needless to say I will NOT be returning there nor do I recommend this place to anyone who values their dignity. You can be selective as a store but this is blatant display of lack of trust by who ever sets the rules in that place towards other service oriented professionals. I would honestly rather pay 10 times the whole sale price and not be placed in an awful situation like this ever again. It left me feeling sick!
Apparently, someone went in and bought Moroccan oil products and sold it to other department stores. That person, however, was not me ...so why do I and others like me have to pay the price for one persons poor judgment??
I hate places like Mary time beauty...they operate on open discrimination and distrust.
I give it a ZERO for business ethics and I will report them to the BBB.
