Review from Gina I.
I was excited to take my boyfriends children here, but I think I was more excited than them.. I love farm animals!
It was such a beautiful day and we spent about an hour and a half just walking around the path and looking at all the different animals.
My favourite, of course, was the goat petting area. I couldn't get enough. There is never enough goat love. Seriously.
It's just a fun place to go with your family, or friends.. or dare I say by myself?! :) -

Great place to take your kids!! My son loves going here and seeing all of the farm animals. As mentioned already in the previous two reviews, there are many different farm animals here. My favourites are the goats and also the bunnies whom you can also pet.
I love that they have a station set up to wash your hands thoroughly once you have finished petting the animals!
Tips:
1. wear your boots as it can get muddy!
2. there is a great park just adjacent to the parking lot that is a great place to take your kids after they have finished with the farm. -

As a kid, did you ever get a chance to pet a goat or milk a cow? That's exactly what Maplewood Farm offers every kid, big and small, the chance to do. The farm is a Municipal Park Farm that opened in 1975 to provide an experience of rural life that's both educational and fun. The five-acre site is home to more than 200 cows, goats, pigs, sheep, chicken, geese, ducks and turkeys. There are donkeys, horses and ponies, too. Many of the animals can be petted. And kids get a chance to observe the animals in the authentic setting of a working farm. Pony rides are available seasonally. Every year features terrific seasonal events, starting with the sheep shearing in May, the Farm Fair in September, the Pumpkin Event in October and, finally, the fabulous Country Christmas in December.
