We've all played tour guide before and at the end of every visit, someone is bound to ask "Where can I get a souvenir of Calgary to take back home?" From now on, you will answer "Maple Country".
As the name suggests, Maple Country carries a tonne of goods made from Maple such as maple biscuits, maple caramels, maple pecans, maple candies...you're getting the point ya?
In addition to all their mouth-watering maple goods, they also carry Canadian souvenirs. It's a VERY patriotic store and whether you're looking for Canadian paraphernalia or a beaver dressed as an RCMP officer, Maple Country is a one-stop shop.
In addition to all the Canada gear, they also sell dream catchers and moccasins. Their moccasins are of the authentic type and right now they are having a sale on them.
Aside from all of the reasons I've listed to give Maple Country a visit, I have yet to mention the EXCEPTIONAL service. I was greeted by a very sweet gentleman and he was very attentive, helpful and friendly. He was extremely genuine and based on the service alone, I highly recommend you buy a little something Canadian from this store!
