Why don't we have Mandarins in the states? Oh right, because they'd charge you an arm and a leg to eat this much good food in one sitting. Lunch Special Buffet on the weekdays is $12.99!! So much food, so much variety, everything was constantly being replenished. I'd been to another Mandarin in Burlington, ON last year, and I feel this location was superior. If I had realized how good the dessert options were, I would have paced myself during the meal a bit more. Kid-friendly spot too.
Again, we need to have good chinese buffets like this in NYC!! -

This is the kind of place you swear you'll never come back to, but when you're with a group of gluttonous friends with a few hours to kill comes up again and again as a suggestion anyway.
You will leave full. Like painfully full. You will feel like crap. An hour later you will be hungry again.
The serving staff are friendly. Its not even close to the best chinese food, but there is a shit ton of it.
If you're in to quantity over quality this is your place. -

The most magical thing about Niagara Falls isn't the Falls - it's the Mandarin! I had delicious food here a few weeks ago when I was in town for a conference.

The food is great. They seem to have more choice than the other mandarin's, A visit here makes any Niagara falls holiday complete.

This is definitely the best buffet I've ever had (though not very chinese), and actually some of the best food I've ever had. There were more bars than I could count, including a freshly made sushi station, salad bar, ice cream bar, and two other dessert bars. When someone told me this buffet had crab legs, I thought "I've had crab legs on Chinese buffets before - they sucked," but these were the best crab legs I've ever had - even right on the coast. They were huge, semi-pre cut for easy cracking, and delish! I felt like I barely could try anything else because I couldn't stop eating them. They also had items like creme brulee, and everything was cooked perfectly - even the green beans! Plus the service was impeccable - one of them simply overheard me saying "I wonder if they have crab shell crackers somewhere" and one appeared next to my plate. And I never even had to use it because they were pre-cut so I could easily use my hands. It's certainly pricey, but I've had much worse crab leg dinners for much more expensive.

This was hands-down the best Chinese restaurant that I've had -- and I eat a lot of Chinese food! About 15 minutes from Niagara Falls, absolutely worth the drive. It was all so fresh and delicious. There was not one dish that wasn't delicious. I was there for the Chinese new year, so it was somewhat busy, but we were still seated promptly and had great service. Looking for an excuse to go back to Niagara, just to hit up Mandarin.

if you can eat enough food to fill a bathtub I suppose it's worth it.
but if you eat a normal amount spend your $17 someplace else.
more ain't always better
in all honesty it's awful -

During our vacation in Canada we had heard of this buffet and decided to try it. The decor is very pretty, the ceiling is made to look like blue skies and the service is very good especially for a buffet. Our glasses were never empty and we had 3 servers that made sure everything was to our liking.
The choice of foods is just amazing and you get too full to even try everything you want. The dessert buffet was my favorite and is HUGE.
There is mainly Chinese food dishes, but also sushi and some American style dishes available.
