I liked it but my companion did not. So I put it in the middle. She ordered the caesar salad and it had several brown leaves in it. Not acceptable. The meatballs and chicken were nice. Actually the chicken tasted a bit like Wendy's chicken for some reason...

Good price, great location, ok food.

Fettuccine alfredo was bland. The pungent smell of cream and cheese was so strong too. The pasta seemed homemade, but it wasn't made with expert skill. It had unpleasant slippery texture. Meatball spaghetti tasted of water. The tomato sauce felt very artificial.

    Service was slow...

After a day out on Niagara Falls, this was a good place to get a quick bite. Price was right. Pasta was al dente. Portion was filling. I was so surprised this place was so good for being in a tourist area.

French Onion Soup $4.99 CAD [5 of 5] For the price, it is delicious. Lots of cheese, broth, and onions.
Caesar Salad $5.75 CAD [4 of 5] For the price, you can share this. It is pretty standard.
Veal Parmigiana $16.99 CAD [3 of 5] Cutlet and the pasta. The pasta sauce was bit acidic, but compliments the pasta.
Special Sausage Penne (forgot price) [3 of 5] Big bowl of pasta. Pasta was al dente. Easy to share this dish.

Meh. Decided to come here for a quick lunch and it looked like the only place in Niagara Falls that wasn't too expensive.

My boyfriend and I ordered their lunch combo. My boyfriend got their french onion soup with Ceasar Salad. I got their Spaghetti and Meatballs.

French onion soup (3): my bf liked it although he said it definitely was not his favorite. He recommends Tommy's on Coventry Rd in Cleveland, OH for french onion soup.

Caesar Salad (4): I would think it's hard to mess this one up. It tasted like any other normal caesar salad you would get at a chain restaurant.

Spaghetti and Meatballs (3): I was disappointed. I had 1 meatball and very little spaghetti. The pasta was normal, felt like it came from a box. and the sauce was your normal Ragu sauce. There wasn't anything too special. The meatballs was good but a bit soft/mushy for me and 1 meatball only really didn't satisfy me.

Overall (2): I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you want a quick lunch. yes, it was cheaper than most restaurants but at the same time, the portions were smaller. So all in all, it was still a fairly expensive restaurant. Also, I was really looking forward to it thinking it would taste unique since it sounded like everything was homemade but everything tasted pretty regular... I'd prefer olive garden over it.

    - Taste like homemade cooking (I mean...HOMEMADE), but the price was fair compare to the other restaurants in Canada
    - Long wait (look like there was only 1 waitress running back and forth doing all-in-one job)
    - I might not give Mama Mia's another try If I go back to Canada.  I rather pay little bit higher price but with a satisfy taste bud.

So this place definitely gets a higher score just for the fact that it wasn't some cheesy place in Clifton Hill.  We were relieved.  We made it in time for the lunch special!  We had the panini with sausage and peppers, and the panini of the day which was essentially an italian hoagie.  Also had the chicken noodle soup.  We were pleased with our food, and for the price too! Definitely pass all of those absurd restaurants on Clifton if you want something a little less gimmicky.
