I still remember when this place opened.  The newspapers ran articles talking about how girls in skimpy (cosplay) outfits would serve you while batting their fake eyelashes.  Today these waitresses are no more.  I got served by a guy, and he definitely wasn't in a schoolgirl outfit.

Parking is available in the private lot inside the mall, as well as the street outside.

I had the salty peppery chicken, as well as a curry hot pot.  The pieces were moist but the batter didn't seem too fresh.  It was actually a bit on the soggy side. As for the hot pot, the soup was quite tasty but not too salty, and the slices of pork were well done.  Bravo.

The place was surprisingly quite deserted, at 0100 on a Saturday.  You'd think the late-night crowd would be here, but they're probably all out at No.9.  It was seriously quiet in there, except for a TV showing Ocean's 13.

Hopefully this place lasts.  It'd be a shame to see them go the way of the Go-Go.  That's what the place was called before becoming Magnetic.

The resurrection of Go-Go Tea Cafe. (The only Cosplay-Anime cafe). It is fun to see someone trying to bring back the cafe in some sort of way, but it is still JUST a cafe. Nothing really different.

The decor is still the same as the previous cafe, nothing changed, they just created it more of a "family" cafe now with a bunch of storage items in a corner. They took out the figurines, and stocked with two years old dog-eared magazines.

I am happy they are trying to bring it back as a regular cafe, but it is still unknown, as I have never heard of this place brought back to life until my friend told me. I do say that their drink are very regular, but their shaved ice is pretty decent. Vincci L. is totally right on the shaved ice. For sure come here for it for the summer!

The service here is very attentive. The waitress and the host of the place is very friendly, and cheerful. I gave her extra tips for being amazing and pulling off a maid costume.

Both negatives and positives. As this place is stuck in the middle and is A-Ok!! :D

Pretty run of the mill tea cafe in my opinion. When I came here during the early afternoon place seemed pretty dead but the server was pretty chill.

Foodwise it was A-OK, the style the drinks were made were in line with how I like it, I had takoyaki and that was just ok. Shaved Ice wasn't super amazing but it wasn't so bad either.

    Free wifi here.

This is what type of business owner he is.
He hired us to do his window cleaning and then hasn't paid us and doesn't return calls.  Next time you there, maybe remind him to pay his window cleaners!!
    Thanks

Kinda pricey, but there's nothing else around like it. Drinks were good, and I really liked their thick toast - nice and buttery. The girls dress in cute costumes, but not distasteful. Free wi-fi too.

    Shaved ice here is delicious!!!

For $4.99 you can have a heaping bowl of shaved ice, along with your choice of 4 toppings. My creation: taro, red bean, pearls, and condensed milk. Such a simple dessert, but I like it so much. All the toppings were fresh and they were also generous on the portion.

There's been a recent change of owners, so now all their meals come with a free milk tea. Menu is more so the same. Servers are now in normal outfits-not the 'cos-play' costumes anymore.

Think I will be back for more shaved ice very soon!

How was it after the new ownership?  Not sure yet.  I think it's still the same food, a few changes, but didn't order food tonight.  We had drinks instead since we were all full of hot pot.  You don't have to have a meal, you can have dessert.
