Maai Living is easy to miss on the corner of Cambie and Hastings in Gastown, however we are so glad to have stepped in by chance earlier this week.
We particularly dislike walking into a designer furniture store and being prowled upon like a mother watching over her nest eggs by the overly eager sales people whom have greeted us at a few other stores in Vancouver. I felt at home my first time in Maai Living, there was no pressure and the music accentuated the beautiful pieces on display.
A friendly fellow named Tang helped us chose out a beautiful solid oak dining room table with matching chairs, we wanted one additional chair and he included custom order and delivery to our doorstep at no extra costs than quoted.
Perhaps the best part was a new customer appreciation discount of 10% offered to us after we had already decided to purchase the entire set! That was a shocker, the price was already very reasonable for what we were purchasing. We really did our homework for our first purchase of a designer dining set in our new home, we couldn't be happier for the price, service and quality received! Thanks Maai Living, can't wait to come back for that Silk Cocoon lamp (Christmas present for the house maybe!!)
