Such a lovely boutique - with a wonderful owner! The book column change room is so beautiful and fun; the store smells fantastic and they have just beautiful clothing.
My best friend & I were looking for maid of honor dresses for me and wanted to stay away from the cheap material and unflattering cuts of traditional bridesmaids dresses. We found a great dress at a very reasonable price - and Nicole was so helpful!
I would highly recommend shopping at LynnSteven and I will definitely be back -

Another lovely Gastown boutique on my radar of lovely Gastown boutiques. Does Gastown think I have all the money in the world? Well, after my latest trip to Lynn Steven I wish I did. Drool. The shop successfully combines two of my favourite obsessions: gorgeous, interesting clothes, with a nod to bibliophiles. Their change room (designed by locals MGB Architecture & Design) is made entirely of paperbacks. Danielle Steel has never looked this good. Hard to say if I wanted to walk out with an armload of new dresses or a replica of the circular book room more. It's not that hard: dresses, naturally.
While I held off on blowing my 'allowance' on a dynamite A Peace Treaty ADIRE scarf, I made off with a tinned Library Collection candle in Oscar Wilde scent (cedarwood, basil and thyme - not the first thoughts that come to my mind when I think of Wilde, but delicious nonetheless). Lynn Steven, you done good, you done real good. -

I have worked in Gastown for nearly 4 years- and like all Vancouver real estate, the area was bound to develop into another flashy neighborhood. And honestly, thank goodness it did because I have had way too much fun discovering sparkly new shops and restaurants.
LYNNsteven Boutique is especially delightful and has quickly become a destination hot-body shopping experience. The shop offers a great assortment of moderate to expensively priced fashions that are mostly from LA. Think casual put-together fashionista including exquisite cotton tees, blazers, jackets (line, Mackage) lingerie, denim (Paige), shoes (Hunter, Frye) and indie beauty brands (MALIN+GOETZ). To top it all off, the giant floor to ceiling book column creates an atmosphere that makes you feel as hip as the clothes that you are trying on.

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Nicole Durnin, the owner of the new clothing boutique in Gastown, LYNNsteven. Named after her mother and brother, this boutique offers fun, flirty styles with some edge. Her all white aesthetic and custom designed racking system makes for a clean and organized shopping experience.
Currently you'll find labels like: Paige, J Brand, Lauren Moshi, Rory Beca, Daftbird and Isabel Lu and many more. You must drop in for a visit and take a look at my 2 current obsessions:
1. The amazing circular storage room that is made of stacks of old books.
2. A Isabel Lu dress for $160 CDN that is now on sale for 20% off. The zipper ruffle details are music to my ears. -

LYNNSteven Boutique in Gastown is THE place to find unique casual pieces or the perfect outfit for a big night out. Every time I head in, I find something very exciting...and the owner, Nicole, is so lovely and helpful. If you're not a shopper, this store is still worth visiting simply to check out the cool interior - never seen anything like it. Love this store.
