Great value!!! Clean! Easily Accessible to good food and great Mtn Bike riding! Great Value!!! Two of my buddies and I came up from the Boston area to ride the legendary VT Kingdom trails. After looking around we decided to stay at the Lyndon Motor Lodge. All I have to say is we were very pleased with our choice. Diane was very polite and professional during the booking; she made arrangements for us in a room with two twin beds and a Queen. We arrived late at night and the key was waiting for us along with a nice clean room. We left early the next morning, ate breakfast up the street at a Miss Lyndonville Diner (Highly Recommend!!) and we were at the trail head in a quick ten minute drive up rt 5. After a great day of riding we came back to our room and were pleased to see our room was cleaned and the beds were made. We showered up watched some cable tv and headed up to Tamarack Grill at Burke Mountain (Good Food, Great Bar/Lodge Atmosphere). The next morning checkout was as easy as leaving the key in the room and leaving by 10:00am. Lyndon Motor Lodge offered everything we were looking for and more in a place to crash during our Mtn Bike adventure. We will definitely look to stay there again next year.

I really loved our room. It was the cleanest motel or hotel room I have ever stayed in. The room isn't large, but it is designed in such a way that it is very accomodating for 2 people to be comfortable: well thought out space in the bathroom to put your 'stuff' (shelves); TWO luggage racks; the fridge and microwave are wonderful plusses; the queen size bed was very comfortable and the lovely cotton bedspread was squeeky clean. This may seem silly to some, but in addition, the toilet paper and tissues were first quality and the towels were plush 100% cotton -- better than 3 star chain hotels I have stayed in.
The room is dark, which was good for sleeping in, not so good for waking up. It is a wonderful value for the price -- or even if it were more.
I a fussy consumer, and we will be back.
I highly recommend it. -

My husband and I were driving from Boston to Quebec City and left after work on a Friday. I thought it would be fun if we just until 8ish or so and then stopped for dinner and drinks before spending the night somewhere on the route. I googled the directions and Lyndonville was right off the highway. After reading all the reviews this seemed like the best place for the best price. Only $55 with the tax. Plus, it seemed like a family run place and the woman who took my reservation was very nice. Reception is in the house next door to the motel, it seems to be the owner's house.
We arrived to find a great little motel - maybe the cleanest one I've ever stayed in. The room kind of looked like a tiny little ski lodge. They had a little binder of tons of stuff to do in the area, wireless internet, tv, mini firdge and a coffeemaker. It was great! Just what I was looking for.
Within ten minutes of arriving to the motel we were off to Trout River Brewing for pizza!
We left early in the morning so we didn't do anything in the area, but it seems there's lots to do, so I think we might come back. This is a great place to go away for the weekend on a budget!
PS. The Yelp listing says this place is closed. But, it isn't. I stayed here in February 2010.
