Lyle's Place really has it all. I go there once a week to have a browse and I rarely leave empty handed. They have a great selection of movies for rental or purchase. Albums on CD, both used and new, at great prices, as well as a selection of vinyl. Band posters, pins, and T-Shirts out the yin yang, and tickets to every live show worth catching in town.
They have a service charge for selling the tickets, but it's minimal and worth it for the luxury of being able to pay with debit or credit, unlike some other shops in town that act as ticket vendors who don't have a service charge but only accept cash. I was told in the past that the service charge was added at a time when Lyle's was selling more show tickets than CD's, so the addition is understandable. -

Lyle's Place is a fun and friendly music centre. You'll find a great selection of recorded music, concert tickets, and music memorabilia covering a wide range of genres. For audiences, artists, (and their crew, such as myself), Lyle's and its ever-helpful staff - is an indispensible shop in Victoria, BC.
