I read about this place in a magazine one summer and decided to give it a try. Gina really does give the best mani-pedis I have ever had. I find my finger polish lasts about 6-7 days and my toe polish a month, if not more. They use the best products and although they are very pricey it is definitely worth it. Also, if you have been gone a while they take the extra step to send you an e-mail and see what is up, great customer service.

The Lux girls give great quality mani and pedis, but it is expensive! 45 min basic manicure = $36.75, 60 min basic pedicure = $57.75.
The shop is fairly small but is in the heart of Yorkville; it's modern and spotless. I think appointments are recommended.Comment from Cathy M. of Lux-Spa 9/16/2010

Soooo expensive, but yet so worth it. Gina gives the best manis and pedis that I've found since moving to the city. And they carry wonderful products that smell delicious. Recommended for anyone who's picky about their nails...

Cathy Mancini is a Professional Makeup Artist and accomplished Beautician with 24 years of experience in the Beauty Industry. She has been nominated for her makeup work by CNoMA (The Canadian Network of Makeup Artists) for Best Bridal Makeup Artist 2004. Mancini has held various positions in the industry including: Department Head and Instructor for Skin Care and Esthetics at a school in Vaughan, Host/Editor of the Cosmetics column at BellaOnline and a freelance writer of various beauty and fashion columns including WHATEVER Vaughan Magazine.
