We are a couple from Maine that went there many many years ago, because we had a coupon. Well it was so good that we never used the coupon. Somedays we take off from here in Maine just to go for a ride on our Goldwing Motorcycle and to have lunch at the Lunor Rogue. They have the best poutine in New Brunswick! The meals are always good, and the drinks are very good! I have been trying Chocolate Martinis at different places, and I think theirs is the best I have had!!!

This is one place in Atlantic Canada that I have gone hours out of the way to enjoy. This evening the sun is shining for the first time in weeks and the patio is open.

The wings are acceptable but the scotch selection is mind blowing  I pick an Islay from the multiple page scotch menu and kick back to sniff, stare, sip and savour a real little treat in a glass. Whether you are new to single malts or a hardened veteran you have to pop in to pick something you have never had before - and I guarantee that there will be something you haven't tried before.

So the star rating is only for the scotch then you can move on to someplace else for food - or just stick around for some pub food and another dram.

Its pub food-  fried food, hamburgers, nachos, wings, sandwiches, caesar salad and lots more.  and lots of beer on tap.
    The scotch selection is unbelievable.
Most people sit out on the patio during the nice weather.  It's a favorite spot for many people in FRedericton .There are specials every night.  these are posted on the board outside.
Inside, it is small and cosy.  decorated in that typical pub  Sometimes 8 or 10 of us get a double table  to listen to a local duet play and sing.
For atmosphere- it is an 7 out of 10.
For food- again, it's pub fare- it's 7 out of 10.
for prices- its average in price if you are ordering beer.
Scotch is expensive anywhere in Canada.  It is world wide famous in the scotch circles as one of the places to visit for it's selection of scotch.

I always try to fit a visit to the Lunar Rogue while I am in Fredericton. It is great for a pub meal with a wonderful scotch menu, and a great waitstaff. The spinach and artichoke dip is the best that I have ever had and will keep me coming back for many years to come.

i know that I have given lots of 5 star reviews out to restaurants but I absolutely love this place.  I go every sat afternoon afterwork, there is always a table waiting for us.  the food and drinks are amazing, but honestly what makes this place one of my favorites are the staff, they are so friendly and accomodating, you can ask them for anything.  They treat us so well there!!! We feel like part of the family.  The best sever is Nathan, he is amazing and fun, makes my Saturday!!!  this place is a must for good food, fun, drinks and entertainment, put it on your to do list when in Fredericton

A perennial favourite with the bespectacled UNB set, I never did get the appeal of the Lunar Rogue.

They used to have an extensive selection of single malts if that's your kind of thing.
