Who is that LuLu girl?
I'm like a walking, running, hiking, climbing LuLu marketing campaigne! I've been donning the lulu logo since 2002, so ALL my active wear is LuLu. Yes, I am loony for LuLuLemon!
So when I moved to Toronto, I swear one of the first things I did was head to Vaughn Mills!
And once I entered the store, and turned the corner to the "back room" - I was ECSTATIC to find myself in LULU HEAVEN! Not a "section", but an entire ROOM of LuLu on SALE! Organized by size, type, and color, and sex! Yes, guys, LOADS to choose from for you too! And I was shocked to find whole-sections of size 2 and 4, which is VERY hard to find *on sale*, anywhere! What's more? Dogs are allowed at Vaughn Mills! O-M-G, yes! So my chi-chi helped pick out my outfits! Really! Even my husband snagged some great deals!
Let me tell you how AWESOME Lululemon is!
1 - High quality! My wears from 10 years ago have not altered in colour, nor shrunk, nor have had to be re-hemmed. Not a single loose string to be seen! (Follow their product care guidelines!)
2 - Reversible? Bonus! That means for certain items, you can get two looks for the price of one!
3 - "Luon" - what's that? Most items are made of this synthetic material that is moisture wicking and pre-shrunk! Awesome for long outdoor adventures, and perfect for travel!
4 - Honor SALE items - within 2 weeks after you have purchased the item, just provide proof (receipt) (and perhaps keep your tags in case!)
5 - Various sizes & styles - causal, sexy, sporty, hipster, or somewhere-in-between ... there's one that suits everybody! Even for the men!
6 - NEW STYLES & NEW COLOURS - so you never get bored!
7- Attention shorties! They have complimentary hemming for pants! (Takes 1 week)
8 - Yoga Studio - Some locations have a yoga studio that offer complimentary classes. Inquire with each location.
9 - They have a drinking fountain! Yes! This is important to me! Cuz I spend hours here!
So guys & gals, anyone up for a one-stop-sale-shopping-LuLu day!?!?!?! Just holla! -

Went in here looking for something. I wonder if the staff are told to all look really pissed off. I tried a pant on from the discount section that I didn't know was there the first couple times I was there. There was a girl re hanging the clothes that people didn't buy and she was nice, she smiled and asked if they worked for me, which they didn't and she said "Don't worry just leave them and I'll take care of them."
Had one more thing to check on our way out and went to the men's section in the front when not one but two employees felt the need to squeeze past me and my daughter in a stroller instead of walking around, the second employee apologized. There was no reason they couldn't have gone the other way around the small rack. Just oblivious, which I don't think should be the case when working customer service, and virtually pushing a potential customer out of your way for whatever reason. The rudeness of the staff at this location with the exception to that one girl astounds me. If they didn't have the discount section at this location I'd never go back.
The product does seem to be a quality made product and the back room is somewhat reasonable in comparison to the regular price. You have to keep going in to see what's back there and if there's something you like, it seems to change frequently. -

This particular Lululemon is pretty decent because it has a giant sale section in the back past the change rooms. I do find it hard to find size 2 items on sale here; it seems it's the first size to sell out. There is also a good selection of men's clothes on sale too.
The store is never messy (unless you go Boxing Day) and the staff are nice. Quality of the Luon (the material most of their tops and pants are made from) has been on the decline but it's still decent. You can definitely feel the difference between this and other brands of yoga pants. Also, like all other Lulu's, they offer complimentary hemming on their pants even if you get a pair online. I think they may also be able to hem tops, but I have yet to try this.
Lastly, there are free yoga classes at every Lululemon store! You can go online and check out each store's schedule. -

Another location I visit if I'm in the area. They have a lot of markdowns here & lots of new products. The room at the back is just for markdowns. Vaughan is supposed to be like the 'lulu outlet'. I've compared some of the prices of their sale items and those from the online lulul loot section & sometimes it's the same price or at least $10 cheaper at Vaughan Mills. I find if you're lookin for crops on sale... look here! Lots of 'em in many diff. sizes.
The store is quite busy esp on weekends. But the staff are ok. They always ask if you need n e thing, etc. Surprisingly I haven't bought n e thing on sale here yet :(
If I have to rant about lululemon in general...
- $$$
- I've noticed recently their tops are more low cut & seems to gear towards 20s girls. I'm sure more mature women would love something that doesn't cling too much to the stomach area or have their girls flaunt too much while working out.
- 2010 designs have been crap this yr
Love
- I have to say I love their pants (groove). They just hide fat I'm not even kidding.
- preshrunk ! but you have to take care of your items and try to avoid washing your lulu items w/ towels, cotton, etc. or your things will develop pile, lose elasticity over time (i learned this w/ my first pair of pants... but still wearing them :p)
- i love how my used lulu tops can sell for half it's value or more on ebay if i were to sell it within a yr.Listed in: Confessions of a SHOPAHOLIC :)

Lululemon in Vaughin Mills is my favourite Lulu location!
I just love the huge marked down department. Everything is sorted out by sizes and in an orderly fashion... So no surpries when you see a top you like but in a size too small!! Don't you hate that!
I have to say this location has the best and the most discounted clothings for men!! Yes, I ended up buying things for my boyfriend here!
Maybe I should not come here too often.. because I might be buying too many lulu thing?!
