Review from Kari C.
I went on a field trip once (fashion school, forever ago, long story), and we went to see Lululemon clothing getting manufactured at Tamoda Apparel (before they moved it all to China). It makes me happy to see this place, machines whirring, bolts of fabric all over the place, and people actually designing for all to see.
This location in particular is great for me because the Cambie + Broadway intersection is a place to frequent easily, and I'm hooked on Lululemon headbands, to wear in the kitchen at work and when going for a run. They're just the best, period.
Lulu Lab doesn't carry all the same stock that you'd find in one of their regular shops, a lot more "fashion" than "function" but the people working there are about the same: Really chill, friendly, and they don't pressure you.
If you're looking for stretchy harem pants, this is the place to go.

They don't offer much in the way of selection. I don't think I've ever actually purchased anything here. But since I've been in here a few times for alterations of my current lulus, I really like the staff.
They are friendly without being phony, and it's never too busy (maybe that goes back to the selection part).
It always takes 4 days to get things returned for alterations. That's the only down side.
So I'm not rating the line of clothes here per se; it's more about the service. However, apparently the clothes here are unique, but some of the things look really...strange. It's the "tester" store, and I can see how that might be the case.
Sure, everything is expensive, but I have to say, they are always so comfortable, and unless you wash yours a million times like I do, they always look good. I usually buy three pairs or so at once, and then nothing for a couple of years. I always liked their underwear here, too, and quality is where it's at.
Also, I've been told that the bench that they offer for sorry dudes who wouldn't be caught dead in anything lulu is quite comfortable.
Plus, the reusable bags are great for carrying stuff and are a lot lighter than my other 10 000 bags at home.Listed in: Shopping: A Girl's Favourite…

$100 sweat pants....really? They don't even feel like $100 sweat pants. Watching the people make my clothes through the window creeps me out a bit. To me it looks like a sweat factory even though they're trying to make a point that they're clothes are locally made. The people at the sewing machines look depressed making sweat pants. I walked in here to buy a pair for a friend for Christmas but opted out. Even she would think that $100 sweat pants are bullshit.

I love the Lulu Lab!
I am a certified Lululemon addict and have built a large collection over the years. Once I learned about the Lululemon Lab, I had to go there.
The Lululemon Lab designs and creates new workout gear all the time. Their designs are really creative. They only make a limited supply of each item, so if you buy something from here you know only a handful of people in the world have it. It's a cool feeling! They also sell a lot of Lululemon accessories that you can find in other locations.
The awesome thing about this location is that you can watch workers sew and create the clothes right in the store. It's definitely something to check out.
The one item they're known for is the circle scarf. I finally got a chance to buy one when I moved to Vancouver and I absolutely love it. If you're going to buy anything from the lab, I recommend one of these scarves.
If you love Lululemon clothing, check this place out! -

Circle scarves are pretty much the greatest thing ever!
The lab is constantly creating limited edition, funky styles that take lululemon to a whole new level, you HAVE to check it out! -

Having been a Lululemon fan for years, I've only been to this location a few times. The staff here are fabulously friendly, and helpful. I love their social media activity and the freedom of creativity that Lululemon fosters for them in this store, and online.
If you haven't been to this location, it's different from all the rest. They make all their own designs from off-cuts of fabric (I think that's right?), and sell them in the store. You watch the seamstresses, and see the whole creative process from inception to completion. What an inspiring spot this must be to work. The pieces for sale here aren't available any where else.
The quality of Lululemon products is extraordinary. The price points reflect this, but I've never had a piece that has failed. I travel with them, do yoga in them, and wear them casually. They are crammed in a suitcase, washed a million times, yet last for years.
I always see their community events posted online, they offer their space for yoga classes, information sessions, staff events, and even a chocolate tasting today which I happened by. Chocolates by Daniel, they were delicious.
Check out this great spot if you're a die hard Lulu fan, or new to the brand. The setting and achieving of personal, professional, and health goals is a huge part of their corporate culture, and I've heard nothing but good things about working for them. -

LULULAB!
I love that at the lab you get to watch designers as they create unique athletic gear to be sold in-store only. You can see their inspiration boards and then browse the racks for the very pieces they were inspired to make.
Then you can peer over to the sewing room and listen to the purr of the sewing machine as they hem and create samples.
You can guarantee that you'll be the most stylist in your athletic gear!Listed in: Oh, Canada!

Loved the lab and all their designs. The girls were super friendly, and explained several ways to wear the circle scarf. When I got home, I realized that it was really just a piece of non-fraying fabric sewed up on one side. That's not a lot for $38, but hey, I wanted to leave with one of those famous lab items and I decided it was worth it. I also purchased an extra long cool racerback marked down for $39 and I absolutely adore it.

i don't buy lulu clothes really, i find them a little too much. But i needed a bra so i popped in and talked to the girl about the lab and how its different. she then helped me find a perfect sports bra., i love how this store is unique from the others...and my over priced sports bra was worth it.

My cousin and I came here to get our pants hemmed since it would be done -- for free -- in one hour, the store we bought the pants from (Robson) would take 5 days. The sales staff were incredibly nice and did a great job of measuring our pants for us. They told us to come back in about an hour and 15 minutes.
We ended up sticking around the neighborhood and came back just a minute or two under an hour. Lo and behold, our pants were ready! The hemming was done well and so quickly! Thanks, Lululemon!! -

Lululemon lab proves that the lululemon brand is nowhere near getting stale. The products in this store are often unique and can't be found in the regular lululemon shops. Funky, innovative, a great range of products (clothes, accessories, bags, etc), and super friendly staff...love lululemon lab.
