Oh Lululemon. My true love.
I love this location. Great window displays, super friendly staff & never a wait at the fitting rooms. It's definitely one of the older, more 'basic' of locations without the swank & pomp of, say, the Metrotown location... But I like that. It feels honest and straight forward. -

Alright, fine, I'm a convert. I can justify spending $100 on hoodies and pants that boast muffin top protection because I am one of those lucky people who works from home a lot of the time. This also means, I no longer need to spend my cash on those BCBG blazers, Banana Republic blouses and Club Monaco skirts - the ones I do have are all collecting dust. Plus I actually do wear their yoga gear for what it's intended for: yoga.
Stick a fork in me, I'm lulu-ed... but I still stand behind my previous statements: Lululemon is active wear - it's not meant for clubbing, fine dining and certainly not for working in offices or retail. March your butt back to the gym, the yoga studio or the seawall. Or else I might have to downward dog you! -

The people at Lululemon are SO nice and knowledgeable, you just want to stay there all day and hang out, trying on every style of pants and tops, and practicing your d.f.d. in the spacious changing area.
While the prices aren't cheap, they definitely have something for every body type, and they are built to last. The cool thing about shopping at a store in the company's hometown, is that any feedback that you give them goes back directly to the designers, and it's the kind of company that definitely listens to it customers.
Nice play area for kids (see? stay all day) and you get a discount off or your purchase if you opt not to take a shopping bag.
In-store alterations available. -

Any brand of tight black pant that makes my butt look great I am a fan of! I am an avid yoga devotee and I pretty much live in my Lululemon clothing when I work from home. They are so comfortable and I don't feel like a frump if I have to run out to do an errand. Great for travel too.
I find that when I browse the store I am not overly inspired to buy. It sometimes feels like there is not too much that is new or exciting. I really only replace the items that I have bought years before that are starting to look shabby. Staff is usually spunky and upbeat and fit the role well.
Lululemon is fabulous and I am glad they exist because I don't know what I would wear 85% of the time otherwise :) -

No Vancouver-based Yelp reviewer's mission can be considered complete until she does an obligatory post on one of our city's most famous start ups, Lululemon Athletica. So here's mine.
Even if you've never done a sun salutation or downward dog, chances are you've seen your fair share of derrieres encased in Lululemon pants. For the essential yoga and workout gear, in a variety of cuts, styles, lengths, and colours, you needn't look much further.Listed in: Mall Musts

What can I say about Lululemon that hasn't already been said. Their stuff is alright, they at least try to come from good place corporately and asses look good in their pants. I must say though as someone uninvolved in yoga and, especially as a man, they mean very little to me.
The men's selection of clothing is pretty yoga centric, with only the occasional piece I'd consider for running or workout clothes. I feel like the woman's stuff has really branched out into various styles but the men's is still stuck on yoga mode.
There's not anything wrong with that and I definitely appreciate how your butt looks in those pants but, I guess it's just not for everyone. Not that there's anything wrong with that. -

It appears their out of stock system is used to sell whatever they have on hand (Globe and Mail Business article Oct 2009), interesting marketing method, I can't say I'm impressed by it though.
