Burnaby, BC
Good Outlet for Lulu, I find it better than the Burlington location across the border. I'm lucky enough to live 5 mins away. So I check it out often.
I find Friday's has great deals and if you come during the day its even better less people. Weekends are crzy and crowded. Its a really small place. Mens clothing are limited, sizes are pretty good for women.
Location is hard to find its in very industrial area in South Burnaby. Just follow the signs. -

As a male...
Your luck here is going to be hit and miss.
First trip here they had 2 racks with white and black t-shirts, and some black spandex shorts. For any guy this would have been a waste of time.
The second trip I grabbed two jackets for $69 each instead of $118. A much more fruitful trip.
My wife finds lots of stuff here though. They always seem to be stocked with woman's apparel. Guys might want to give them a call before making the trip to insure there is a reason to come shop. -

There are signs along the way to direct you to the store.
The store is bigger than the outlet they had on 1st and Clark back in the day.
It was nice to see some markdowns but I did not find anything that I wanted personally. I like the items they have in the regular store better in terms of quality.
Limited changing rooms as it is a small store.
Staff is friendly. They welcome you to the store and tell you about sales. -

Lululemon What do I get from that name, being a man? I want to meet this Lulu. Is she cute? Lemon - sour, but I love lemons!
Or was it rururemon? Something about how it's tough for Japanese to pronounce this. Kinda like Chevrolet or Arnold Schwartzenager or Vietnamese. Go ahead, ask a brand new tourist from Japan to say any one of those. I do, all the time!
So back to this factory outlet.
It is a factory outlet that I think, at first, being a guy, you get sticker shock. Then you're told that the regular stores will make you faint. I mean, this stuff aint made in Vancouver anymore, so why the sticker shock on clearout items?
Truth be told, there is barely anything in the mens side that fits me, but if I do find something, I love to wear it. Despite all the jabs, I get from the jockular Richard Simmon dudes in their disco red Adidas at the Gym.
At first, I didn't get why everything was so expensive, then I found out why last week when I read that the owner of this fine establishment of Yogary bought the most expensive house in Vancouver. He Needs the money for his mortgage!
But then so do I, which is why I prefer the outlet over the regular stores. However, having said that, the only other real reason why I'm here, is that it's on my route. -

I just remembered why I don't come here as much as I used to.... The guys section is made up of 1 tiny rack of size XS/small (10-14 items), 4-5 items of medium that nobody would want (odd patterned shorts) and one large rack of XL stuff. 2 racks of guy stuff in the entire outlet.
Not sure if women have any luck in here but atleast they have 30 racks to browse through. Definitely not a place for guys which blows because this is a place your gf wants to go ever 3rd weekend to buy for her/her friends/sister/Christmas/birthdays, etc.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Loved this place.
Thanks to my little sis who took me there.
We got a bunch of lulu at a great price!
This place is clean and organized filled with helpful staff.
Notes:
Good kids outfit selection.
Remember, this is an outlet at discount price. Of course, it does not carry all the colors and selections everyone wants. -
Review from erica c.
Totally disappointed with this factory store. They carry mostly women's clothing along with a small selection of men and children's items but the store itself is VERY TINY. Not even half the size of a normal Lululemon store. And if you go on the weekend, expect a long wait for the fitting rooms.
Many of the items are displayed on racks according to size but the selection of women's clothing was pretty bad: most of the stuff had ruffles and ruching or were in odd colors and sizes. I got lucky and found one plain pair of grey cropped pants and one black top (both were the only items of those styles in my size) but I was hoping to walk away with more! -

I have a love-hate relationship with Lululemon. As they say, I love you but my wallet hates you. Thank goodness for this outlet. Yes the actual location is a tad hard to find (Google map only takes you so far. You have to navigate through the warehouses). Even their own signs to lead you there are pretty inconspicious (look on the ground). But don't worry, once you find it you are in sales heaven. The place is pretty small, if compared to their retail stores, but the layout is very efficent - by size! That's my favorite kind of organization for clothing stores.
The discounts & availability of sizes are sometimes a hit-or-miss, but there was a pretty good sale going on the last time I was there. Average deals:
- Bra top - retail: $58; outlet: $29
- Pants - retail: $98; outlet: $79
- Crops - retail: $86; outlet: $49
- Shorts - retail: $58; oulet: $39
Of course, everything is final sale.
Some random points:
- Complimentary hemming, even for outlet purchases
- I would say 90% women & 10% men items
- Pants & crops sizing are consistent. I had to size up for shorts. Bra tops sizing varies depending on style. At least that is the case for me.Listed in: How I got my Six-Pack!

Pretty lame, especially if you are looking for service, parking, or mens clothing. I spent almost 10 minutes in this small space quite obviously looking for a salesperson without one person asking if I needed help. Since everyone in there was clad in the cult of Lu, I didn't even know who to ask, didn't even get any helpful glances. I just started hot yoga and was in the area, stopped in to look for mats, towels, and mens yoga clothing. 0 for 3, peeps. I'd give this place a P for pass.

This place was the hardest place to find, I had to call them and actually have them guide me! Like the previous poster wrote, the Google map only takes you so far.. all the buildings are gray in the area, its in the middle of this weird block and you are looking for one of those stand signs that have LULULEMON OUTLET on it.
My wallet is starting to hate me because of this place, the quality has changed, I spend so much even at the outlet, but I am quite glad there is an outlet. It's a real hit and miss with the place, sometimes you can find nothing and sometimes theres 4 of your favorite sweaters there in perfect condition and size.
I wish the pirouette or mesh w/ non-slip strip hairbands were cheaper..if you think about it, its just the scrap fabric of what came off of the jacket or top they were making.
The 2 times I have been there, have been a great hit with me. Came back with a bunch of sweaters and a pair of pants! -

I love lululemon, but do I love it enough to drive more than 30 minutes to save some extra dollars. Like many other reviewers have already mention, the drive is very off putting, especially since there isn't anything else in the surrounding area.
But I was curious, so I drove out there anyway. Luckily I did find some things that fit and were at a great price.
Will I drove out there again? Probably not. The selection and sales were not spectacular enough to call for more trips out. -

It's not exactly easy to find, but this surprising small factory outlet store is worth seeking out if you're a fan of lululemon AND bargains. Prices are about 20-30% off the regular retail price, but I'm no mathemagician, I just know I picked up a cozy new hoodie and one of the ubiquitous pairs of sweatpants with Butt-Lift technology for about $150 (including tax). I think a hoodie I was looking at in the regular store would be almost that much!
The cozy shop features the same friendly service, if not as wide a selection, as regular lululemon stores. It's true that there's not much for guys, but my guy doesn't wear lululemon so he didn't care. They also still offer free hemming for the sweatpants, although you have to take them to one of the regular stores to have it done. Still, seeing as how a short girl like me has to have all my pants altered anyway, that's not a big deal.
FYI the outlet store just south of Marine Way in Burnaby; go past the big-box shopping centres and hang a right at Marshland/North Fraser Way; handy signs will guide you the rest of the way. -

I cave. I cave. Driving all. the. way. here today, I wondered if I'd even find something in my size... if the colour I wanted would be there and, in general, if the deals would be any good.
And, well, I gotta admit, some of the sales were pretty good. Way better, in fact, when compared to the outlet store just south of the border.
What I think I like most about the store is that it's laid out by size and that they still give you the same service you receive in the stores: your name and number of garments goes on your fitting room door. The only thing I wish would improve is the attentiveness of the staff, who after putting me in a fitting room seemed to forget that I was there, even as I came out, hummed, hawed and then asked my friend to find me other colours and sizes.
All was forgotten when I walked away with some sweet deals. I still wish they were closer to Vancouver, and not in butt f, well you get the picture, but I applaud them for having signs up to say that they're open and where they're located. Use the Yelp map - it helped me navigate easily! -
Review from Nicole Rynee B.
It saddens me to only give a Lululemon 2 stars ... And it's not for quality of product - it's merely for the fact that this Outlet was 75% men's clothes and only 25% women's ... So sad! :0(
However, I ask myself this question: Do I ever regret going into a Lululemon? Hells no! So there ... it was a drive for us, en route to downtown Vancouver, but it was worth checking out.
Bottom line: if you're a guy, in the BC area, go. quickly. buy lots. if you're a girl. mehh. -

One star for practically close to nil selections for men. Three stars for the women selection which fills the whole minuscule "factory outlet store".
Boo factor:
1. Most of the selections are large sizes.
2. Savings is only $10-20 dollars from the retail price.
3. Long drive to get to this place out of nowhere place.
After trekking here and seeing the paltry savings I could get. It's best to shop at normal Lululemon Atheltica stores where there are abundant styles and sizes.
If you want a solid shopping experience worth your while for a handful of stores, it's best to head south of the border. -

My annual visits back home to Vancouver are never complete without a trip to the Lululemon factory outlet. Like Ange L., I was dismayed to learn that it moved from Commercial Drive to south Burnaby, but it's still well worth the trek!
The new space is bigger, more spacious, with proper fitting rooms just like in the stores. Lulu gear is cheaper than at the retail outlets and the selection is fresh and new. The staff are helpful as always. I'm rating it 4 stars instead of 5 because it's not as accessible by transit and not easy to get to, that means that since the selection varies day-to-day, you can luck out some days with great deals and strike out on others. Regardless, as a poor student, I can't afford full-price Lulu gear so I'm super hyped that the outlet is still here!! -
Review from Shen S.
this is one of the hardest outlet to find! it's in the middle of a bunch of corporate buildings...but i thought it's definitely worth the drive!
i purchased a reversible hoodie (i love the unique touches of this hoodie!)) and a workout non-stink long sleeve shirt (it's so comfy and light!) for about $140 after tax, which normally would probably cost me almost $200 in a regular lululemon store.
i came on a saturday morning, and the store was packed already! had to wait in a long line-up just to try on clothes! also, they don't have a lot of guy's clothes in this location!
oh and fyi they don't have public washroom there (and no where near the vicinity) so....make sure u don't drink too much water before coming here!! =) -

Coming from downtown Vancouver, we got lost but eventually found it. There are signs when you get very close to the location so you can find it among all the industrial buildings. I have to agree with the other reviewer, the deals are hit and miss. Clothing is arranged in sizes S, M, L. For example, the day I was there (in August 2011), there was a small selection of clothing items in my size (medium). We were looking for crop pants and found some; prices varied from 10% off to 20% off. This isn't good enough for me to justify the time it takes to drive there. They did have deals on other items such as gloves and head bands, 50% off, but I wasn't looking for those. I saw a few bags. Worth checking out but I wouldn't go again. I would rather shop at their regular locations on Boxing Day if I'm looking for a bargain. Overall, I was disappointed with the limited selection and prices.
Friendly, helpful service, no bathrooms, free hemming but you need to take your stuff to one of their retail locations. -

For all you fans of the yoga-inpsired clothing and accessories line .....
the factory outlet has moved! Please take note of the above address.
Much to my disappointment, the outlet is no long a 12 min drive from place of abode.
So on one uneventful afternoon, I decided to travel outside of my "comfort zone" - across Boundary Rd.... into BURNABY!!!!
After navigating my way through an industrial park, I finally found it.
The size of the store seemed slightly more spacious - that, or they had less stock.
I guess not a lot of people know about their move because there are definitely less customers at this location. So I had a pleasant shopping experience - didn't have to push my way through the racks or wait for a fitting room.
Inventory was a bit lacking on this particular visit. They had more seasonal items rather than "staples". Also less accessories than their old location.
Nevertheless I would make a trip back to see if anything new pops in.
Staff were friendly as usual.Listed in: The Good Customer's Review

so im on my way to fitness town to pick up some more equipment for my gym...and we make a LITTLE detour.
(hey, this is still fitness related!)
this really sucks that it is really in the middle of nowhere...i would NEVER be able to come back unless i have someone drive me and know exactly where they're going cuz i would get lost.
not very much selection for the smaller ladies...so i was very limited to what i could buy. found an awesome lulu hoodies for like $20 off the regular price! score! no luck with anything else.
sad that the bra tops didn't come in anything bigger than a 32D- tried to squeeze into em, yah, it wasn't working. if i inhaled too deeply, these puppies were gonna pop out! lol...
almost nil for lulu bottoms in small sizes. actually, i dont even think i noticed much in the bigger sizes either.
i found that the staff was just as attentive and awesome as regular lulu stores!! =)
not sure how often they get inventory..so you might have to check back a couple times a month to make sure..if you are lucky enough to be able to make a trip back!!
ps, if you are an instructor or personal trainer, they do not offer you the 15% discount. =( oh well.Listed in: retail stores

My 11 year old daughter and I went to the Lululemon outlet in Burnaby this past weekend. It was our first time to the new location. I used to frequent the old location. The new location is airy, clean and bright. The previous location was small and dingy with no windows. As far as appearance was concerned, the new location is much improved. They carry Men's and Women's Lululemon and Children's Aviva clothing. My daughter loves her Aviva. The store is approx. 1000 sq feet in size with clothing sorted by size. The selection is good for those who are a size 10 and larger but the size 2, 4, 6 are pretty picked over. There's an average selection of size 8 items. They carry both factory seconds and store overstock. If purchasing an item, I would recommend that you check your items carefully. Some factory seconds have minor flaws that may or may not affect your satisfaction with the product. I went with the intension of purchasing a half dozen bra-tops and a few pieces of clothing for my daughter. Since the selection was pretty picked over in my size, I was only able to purchase 1 bra top. My daughter faired much better. She ended up with a pair of size 2 Lululemon Clam Diggers, an Aviva Racerback top and a skirt. Seeing that I drove all the way from North Vancouver, I don't think that my trip was particularly successful. That said, the next day, we drove to the Burlington Lululemon outlet in WA state and found that that trip was even more of a waste of time. They practically had nothing in the store. In short, I wouldn't make a special trip to the Burlington outlet store but I WOULD make a special trip to this Burnaby location again.
