I go to Lulu for all my waxing needs, because it's cheap and convenient. If I could afford it, I would go somewhere a little more high-end like Aveda. But Lulu is cheap and does the job for me. An eyebrow wax comes to about $7 when normally I would have to pay twice as much at a place like Aveda. Angel is the lady who usually does my waxing, and she's really sweet.
Lulu is a family-owned business, and they're always super-friendly when you walk in. You don't need to make an appointment, they accept walk-ins. I have never had to wait for a waxing, I just come in and they have me in the seat right away.
They also do haircuts, styling, and coloring, although I've never had my hair cut here yet. They sell hair care products which include brands like AG, which is the one I swear by. I first discovered Lulu when I was searching for some affordable AG, and they were selling it pretty cheap but didn't have it in stock at the time. Instead they made a rush order and put some aside for me to pick up, which I thought was pretty cool. I think I've been here about four times, and I'm probably going to continue being a repeat customer. I should also note they take cash and cheques only, no credit or debit.
