This is the first place I've found that had a female working there! Zomg!
Because of that reason it was really much more comfortable to browse around. The fact that it was during the day with the sun out only served to help.
The environment inside was quite clean and refreshing. There was another man who came in to deliver coffee to the woman working and it made me realize that places like Loves Touch deserve to have a place in the community and they truly help benefit the health of everyone. It's healthy to be sexy ;)
Not only are the prices great and more inexpensive than the other two places I have been before (including Shoppers for certain things), but when I had finished my purchase a FREE battery was thrown in! It truly doesn't get any better than that :) -

I've been going to Love's Touch since I first moved to the West End 20 years ago. In those days my experience with sex shops was limited and I was timid. Even then the staff were always welcoming and put me at ease instantly. I'm pretty sure this store is female owned and I've never seen men working in here. Compared to the grungy places on Granville St with Peep Shows I'm never uncomfortable here. Like Evilyn T says, you don't have to hide your face when you go here.
Up front they have various outfis and a decent selection of guy's stuff. There's usually a good sales rack in the middle that's always worth checking out. If you're planning a stagette they've got plenty of naughty items to make the girls giggle. In the back they have a full range of toys, harnesses and stockings.
I usually end up chatting with the staff about things like their favourite lube or the latest and greatest vibrator. They always have good advice and are happy to share. -

Besides the usual this place has a great selection of costumes and best of all novelty items! THIS is the shop to go to for that bachelorette party you're planning or naughty stocking stuffers or something to add a little spice to a conventional birthday present. However sometimes the great novelty stuff and costumes over power it so it's not a proper sex shop. The selection of toys tends to suffer. It is great to have something a little different though, you can always stop by one of Davie's many other sex shops for the other stuff.

Unlike the gritty Granville Street sex stores, you don't have to hide your face as you walk into this sex store, it's on Davie Street, and there's at least four of them in a five block radius. Davie Street most commonly known for its hot pink bus stops, rainbow flags and bears (wilder than you think,) is a very sex positive zone, so even if you run into a co-worker, old school teacher, or pastor at your church, you can just nod and wink and keep eachother's secret.
Love's Touch carries a wide variety of sexy lingerie, vinyl, leather and costumey outfits for both men, and women, drag queens and divas. I may or may not have purchased such things at this location, but I have surely been eyeballing that men's thong with the elephant ears around the trunk! there are also a selection of adult toys and lotions to make your night out.... er night in.... enjoyable.Listed in: Tips from the Halloween Queen

So it's your typical sunday after brunch activity to help one of your girlfriends find a red crinoline to go under her strawberry ho-cake outfit for halloween... yes I said "HO-cake". Where else do you go in the city but this place. Apparently we were not the only ones who had this same idea. I had no idea that a sex shop what the "IT" place to go for halloween apparel. Everything from sexy race car drivers, sexy military girl, sexy sailor girl.. pretty much any type of occupation you could think of.. just throw the word sexy in front of it and voila! instant halloween costume.
She tried on an array of crinolines in every length, bounce, and volume, all the while between viewings of each one we were entertained in the next fitting room by the guy trying on the pleather ass-less shorts.
The shop keep was helpful and pleasant and offered advice as to what looked the best, all while trying to keep all the other patrons in the store happy and content while looking for their sexy occupation to adorn for halloween.
