The Lounge is wonderful. I have been going to Jacob at the lounge for over 3 years now, and I've never been disappointed. He is incredible.

When you come to the Lounge you will always be greeted with a smile (and a coffee, if you so desire!). I live in NY now and will let my hair grow long just so I can wait until I come to book an appointment.... highly recommend.

Also, lots of good parking spots right on Richards, which is great.

The Lounge features a pool of talented individuals. Under the direction of Martin Hillier, Artistic Director and Lance Blanchette, International Guest Artist for Joico, boasting BC Hairstylist Jacob Rozenberg and a pool of talented award winners who are regular guests of TV and magazine.

What this means to you... is a team of creative individuals who can provide you with what you are looking for or suggest something to fit you and your lifestyle.

Along with color and cut, blow dry and styling, The Lounge is sought after for Great Legnths extensions and Brazilian Blow-outs for commercial, magazine and clients alike.

All of this, in a salon that is open evenings and weekends and with a pool of stylist to fit every budget and expected talent and a very relaxed atmosphere.

History

Established in 1997

The Lounge was a collaboration of Martin Hillier and Lance Blanchette to bring together a group of creative talent with like minds in the beginnings of what is now known as Upper Yaletown.

Originally located across from the imfamous and iconic Richards on Richards. The Lounge began its humble beginnings in an area that they remember being warehouses, bars and ladies of the eve. In time the area like The Lounge changed.

From 2 people now The Lounge employs 13 stylist of varying tenure and specialties and continues to influence the industry locally, nationally and internationally.
