Being an LV Addict since I was 18 years old, this is one of my favourite LV Boutiques to shop at. And trust me I have been to all 3 Locations (Holt Renfrew Bloor Street, Holt Renfrew Yorkdale, LV Boutique Bloor Street). Customer Service can either be a hit or a miss. Yes I can agree with the other reviewers, that the staff at this particular location are a bit snobby, but that depends on who you get.
I recently purchased an LV Monogram Totally MM a few weeks ago, and had an amazing shopping experience! :) The associate that helped me (His name is Justin), actually is the one that does all the Hot Stamping on their LV products, and he made me feel so welcomed and appreciated as a customer! I actually went back a week ago, and brought all my other LV purses to be Hot Stamped and Personalized. WOW, such great customer service from this gentleman. This is what all LV Boutiques should be like in Toronto! :)
I`m looking forward to the new location opening in Summer 2012! -

I do not know how some Louis Vuitton stores are, but this location was a bit of a snob at first impressions. The friendly ones are usually occupied with customers.. and the snobby looking ones are .. well, they just couldn't be bothered behind the glass counter.. which makes it hard to approach them.

The selections are quite okay, but if your seriously looking for a certain item, my advice is to call in before you go all the way to visit them. They may or may not have them in stock. I just got lucky I got mine that was the last in stock (at that time).
I rate: (out of 10 )
STAFF - 4 (just because some of them literally leave you alone KNOWING you are standing there waiting for 15mins or so.. I mean, couldn't hurt to check if the other associate just happened to wander off right?)
ATMOSPHERE - 5.. I do like how the store looks. Very spacious. Pity they didn't have much selections to show. -

Great men's casual shoes. $750 for a tshirt though? C'mon.
Service is okay but my sales woman kind of wandered off while I was trying to pick out a winter scarf and I had to look for her. Service is betrer at Gucci. Though, once it became apparent I was buying she stuck close.
It's probably telling their customer enrollment card comes in English on one side and Chinese on the other side and I was presented by force of habit the Chinese side. Yes, trust me those Canadian dollars we send to China buying at Walmart are recycled back in the form of retail along Bloor/Bay.
I didn't like the packaging. Packing is where it's at when buying at these stores. I want a great sexy bag I can pass on to my sister so she can use to take her lunch of deer meat jerky to work. Again Gucci packs it up tight and right. LV's bag is kind of dull. The scarf I bought at Gucci for my sister came packed in a great little box tied up with a ribbon. The LV scarf I bought just got wrapped up in tissue. -

The 111 Bloor St. W location is the LV flagship store in Canada. There are two other locations in Toronto, both inside Holt Renfrew stores, one on Bloor just down the street and one at Yorkdale Mall.
What can you say about LV that hasen't already been said. If you are looking at this review you probably already know what LV is all about.
This location is two stories of top-shelf goods that need no introduction: high quality goods at an even higher price. Indeed, as with any high-end brand, you are paying for the name on top of the quality. This location, unlike the other two in Toronto, carries the entire LV line: shoes, leather goods, clothing, sunglasses, luggage, etc.
The service here is definitely lacking compared to LV stores in the United States. I often feel as if the employees forget that they are the staff and not the customers. However, this appears to be a phenomenon associated with Bloor street as a whole, and not necessarily just LV. -

I find the service here impeccable. I always enjoy shopping or just browsing here. It may not be as great as the Louis stores in Hong Kong, but it is the best in Canada!

I recently bought "Insolite Wallet" from Toronto bloor street store (see below in details), what can I say? - bad bad design! your credits cards are constantly slipping out of the slots everytime you open up your wallet to pay. It is not a secure wallet. My sister bought the same one because of the pretty print after she saw mine. she is experiencing the same problem!
Ladies - Please do not buy this product! Because a wallet that costs more than $800 should have not made you feel this way. I am hoping Loui Vitton's Japanese designer for this wallet gets the feedback from the end users so he/she can correct this design.
Loui Vitton should stop selling this product IMMEDIATELY!

High-end luxury bag retailer located in great location in Yorkville, Toronto's high end district. I purchased a small messenger bag here and with the exception of the large presence of foreign tourists snapping up goods and keeping the employees occupied, the location has the look and energy that Louis Vuitton is world-reknowned for.

While it still boasts both the Louis Vuitton and the Holt Renfrew insignia, this particular location just doesn't compare to what's available at Yorkville. More beautiful, more accessible, busier... the one in Yorkville exists on more superlatives than simple comparatives. I recommend venturing to the flaship.
