Review from Lori O.
Surrey, BC
Louis Sargeant doesn't think fitness should be a chore. He likes for his clients to have fun training with him, while working hard and getting fit. His approach has all the benefits of boot camp, but without the yelling and the grueling atmosphere.
Being a professional boxer, Louis has learned to be fit simply by eating right and maintaining an effective, regular exercise regimen using simple tools that can be used anywhere, like skipping ropes, small weights, fitness & medicine balls, etc. If students are interested, he also offers boxing and kickboxing elements in his workouts.
I've trained with Louis now for several months. I really like the friendly atmosphere of his classes, as well as the intensity and focus of our one-on-one sessions. His rates are cheaper than the average boot camp or personal trainer too, so it's good bang for buck. And Louis himself is a fun, colourful character that you can look forward to working out with. The only downside is that he isn't available for training at all hours, but if your schedule works with his, it's an awesome place to go. -
Review from Linda W.
Delta, BC
This location is now closed. My son started taking lessons there in January 2012; the place closed down at the end of February. He was not told when he signed up that they were planning on closing down. Not until the middle of February, when a "for lease" sign was placed in the window did my son ask about this sign and was told that he was moving his boxing to Vancouver somewhere. Louis seemed to loose interest in teaching, from the middle of February to the end of the month, we would go there (driving from Delta) and the place would be closed. We called there once and he told us he was sick and it would be opened up again on his next scheduled boxing day and it was. At the end of the month, we went again, it was closed and when we called, he did not answer, we left a message which was never returned. We are now boxing in Richmond at #5 road and just off river road. I would recommend this place - way bigger, and the instruction is way better - he is learning so much more!
