A few years back I noticed my vision was slowly deteriorating.  I went to another downtown Optical office where after my eye exam I was promptly advised  "Sorry - you're going blind and there's nothing I can do for you.  Have a nice day"  Yup just like that, well totally devastated I think it took me a year to go for a second opinion and that's when I found myself at the doorstep of Dr. Louie.

I'm so glad I went to see Dr. Louie .  He took the time to explain what was actually going on with my eyes and why. I explained what I was told he advised me that  I wasn't going "blind" and gave me a plethora of options to help deal with my eyes.

I can't say enough  about Dr. Louie and his staff.  They are all so very helpful and kind.   I can see clearly again and am beyond pleased with my results.

For anyone who's gotten the worst possible news regarding your eyes - go see Dr. Louie. And don't wait like I did!

I've been seeing Dr. Louie for about 10 years now, and I've always been impressed with the level of service and the incredible selection of eyewear. He takes time to help you find frames that fit your face, prescription and and lifestyle - he picks out frames for me that I would never consider trying out on my own, but that end up suiting me so well that I always receive numerous compliments on my glasses. He carries many lines from all over the world (e.g. Japanese, Danish, French, German, etc.) in a wide price range. Nadine, the optician, is also a delight. Highly recommended.
Dr. Louie is also an accomplished travel photographer (he's won National Geographic competitions) and one part of his office includes a gallery of prints, which are fun to browse through as you wait for your appointment.

I went to Dr. Larry Louie's eyecare centre to get my glasses a year ago. If I remember correctly, this place was discovered and recommended to me by my mom who got her glasses here too.
The interior of this eyecare centre is modern and elegant. Numerous glass shelves display an array of fantastic eyewear. Dr. Louie is professional and attentive. He did my eye exam and then helped me choose fabulous frames. He did not rush me, and courteously offered his input on which frames work best for my face shape. I ended up choosing O&X frames which are made in Japan. I must say, these are some fancy glasses - the lenses are anti-glare and also darken once I'm in the sunlight.
Hugo Boss, Chanel, Prada are some of the brands of eyewear I have noticed in stock. You can always check centre's website to learn more.
As an owner of this eyecare centre Dr. Louie is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Next time you need glasses, consider his centre as an alternative to Lenscrafters.
