I think this is a decent mall. I go there mainly for New York Fries (food court), London Drugs and Wal-mart. I even got my prescription sunglasses there (Lens Crafters)!

Actually, there is a Wal-mart closer to my area (Vancouver). However, Lougheed Mall's Wal-mart is more convenient since it is closer to the SkyTrain Station.

The Mall doesn't look as modern as Metrotown, and you probably won't find those fancy labels here. However, it is nice to have a neighbourhood mall with most of the things that you need.

This place is totally dead ...
Building is old, and there are no shops that motivate me to go there instead of the extra 15 min drive for Metrotown

the only time I go to this mall nowadays is when I am getting something from walmart ... otherwise I pass by this place all the time but never go in

it used to be better than Coquitlam Centre a long, long time ago.. but Coq Centre got its renovation and just vamps up the stores in there

Lougheed centre has been declining in # of shops in there as well as quality of shops ...

Well, it's got a London Drugs and a Safeway and a Walmart, and they recently fixed up the Bay; it's now one of the high end Bays like you get downtown instead of a ghetto suburban Bay There are some pretty decent stores like Aldo, a Kin's Farmers market, a Knife Shop, and a Jacob, and I very decent Eterna Salon. What I really like about this mall is that it's not crowded, so allows for a MUCH more pleasant shopping experience than, say, Metrotown. However, it's small and really doesn't have any nice clothing stores at all aside from the recently elevated Bay where you can get the Fossil bags, high end cosmetics and perfumes, etc. The Walmart causes there to be way too many disgusting people walking around. But hey, it's a mall. If you live near it, it's very handy to have around.

What can you expect coming out to the border of Burnaby/Coquitlam, as this mall has not changed much over the years, except adding acouple big box/traffic driven stores, yet the mall is still not that busy. Working in this area, this option of wasting time is on the bottom of my list, maybe I am not a mall type person, but I will note acouple good things in this mall:

    - London Drugs
    - Anna's Bakery
    - New York Fries
    - Orange Julius
    - Safeway (attached but outside of the mall)

Those are the places that I would visit in this mall, as for me there is just not much to look at in this mall. Just stay away from the Walmart parking, as you will not find any there, as this is probably the most busiest of stores. I'm still surprised that H&M decided to open here. Other than that, if you really do have something to buy at this mall, look into getting a mall card, as occasionally, they have deals, like free gifts into every $100 you get a free movie ticket! Go to customer service to take a look!

This is an okay mall... nothing horrible, but nothing THAT great as well. Well, actually they recently opened a H&M here, which I think may actually be the livelihood of the mall! It's smaller than the other 2 H&M's in the Lower Mainland, but you can still find some cute stuff there.

Other stores in the mall include American Eagle, Aldo, La Senza, and of course the oh so great Starbucks, which is right near the entrance to the mall - making it very convenient.

It's one of those malls you go to if you know what you're looking for will be there... It's not necessarily a mall you could go to kill time at.

Lougheed mall is tiny, with a food court in one corner and a walmart in the other. There is a blight of original stores in here, with exceptions for the bakery, produce, and dollar store, so don't expect anything truly unique from the mall. The clothing retailers they do have generally cater to the discount crowd, with 2 for $20 sale signs in nearly every store front.

The food court offers a large variety of options. Sea food, traditional fair (including meat loaf!), japanese and korean, cafe style baked goods, specialty popcorn, and burgers all have a station with decent fast food. There are always enough seats to sit down with a meal, and the staff are pretty good at keeping them clear.

The rest of the mall is kind of drab though. Balconies, a skylight, roof top parking, and a few comfy chairs are all the decorations this mall has to offer. It really does just seem like a building full of the same  business. Then again, I don't really like malls.

Maybe I'm revealing my redneck roots but Lougheed mall, while generally just a mid-level non-stunner, does offer one thing no other easily accessible mall has: Wal-mart. Try as I might to hate the giant superstore they still offer undeniably cheap prices and good selections on weird things like craft supplies, sporting goods and seasonal decorations.

The rest of the mall isn't awful. Compared to most of the other ones along the skytrain line, it's downright good. It has name brand stores like HMV, The Gap etc. and they far outweigh the mom and pop oddities. The big sport checks, London drugs and the aforementioned Wal-mart were big draws when I lived near. It also has a pretty massive food court which is always good when you want a little selection.

So yeah, you're not going to get anything too crazy out of the mall. That said it has I.H.O.P. and Wal-Mart, is near a liquor store and has just enough diversity to fill most needs. It's honestly one of the better malls on the north side of the skytrain (beat of course by Metrotown) and is worth checking out. Maybe not by tourists, but locals could find it very convenient.

As shopping malls go, Lougheed is nothing terribly spectacular. There are some nice stores here - H&M and Ming Wo come to mind - but nothing really worth a special trip to this busy corner of Burnaby. The traffic in this area, actually, can be quite horrendous.

I'm batting about .500 when it comes to actually finding something here when I need it. Most of the time I end up leaving empty-handed because the stores just don't seem to have what I want at any given time. I'm not a recreational kind of shopper; I want what I came to get, and though the shopping experience is fine here - not too crowded, lots of benches, airy - I have been disappointed too many times to make this mall a destination.

Lougheed Mall is dope, when I say that I mean the legal stuff! But seriously how can you go wrong when you have a skytrain that brings you right to the stop. They have the basics which include Starbucks of course, a great fruit market (I got all my strawberries, raspberries and blueberries there this summer) and of course Walmart. Now I don't go to Walmart for clothes but it can't be beat for household deals and some great pantry deals on food. Lougheed mall has a half decent food court, your typical A&W, KFC, a great Stirfry place with awesome bottles of sauce that I buy for 3$ from them and make stirfries at home that taste the same. Awesome teriyaki, definitely worth trying. They have a Coles bookstore, H&M, American Eagle, Bluenotes......all the good stuff.
I like it when I don't want to deal with the massive crowds at Metrotown even though I live close by.
I found when I like things that only have a few sizes at the major chains at Metrotown I will go to Lougheed and usually find them there. So definitely a place I go to at least 1 or 2 wknds per month.
Great location, easy to get to, lots of restaurants in the area and all the stores you could possibly want. Make it a real treat by going to IHOP for breakfast and work off the pancakes by shopping the rest of the day.

Hmmmm, a mall, is a mall, is a mall. Honestly nothing jumps out at me when I think of Lougheed Mall except for the occasion stop to the WalMart or the Bay. Parking is a gong show but I can usually find something.

Lougheed Mall is a decent mall based on convenience (if you use skytrain or live in the area) and essential shops. It covers the base standard mall shops, it is adequate if you just need to pop in and buy something or are trying to cut back on shopping, but if you are going to blow a bunch of money on a brand new warerobe this mall will frustrate you.

Gosh, this is such an old mall. Don't believe me?, well, I've been here since a was a little kiddo and I decided to visit this mall again today. I was shocked to see so little change at this mall. There is a name change from Lougheed Mall to Loughheed Town Centre. Everything looks pretty much the same! Sure, Woolco has been replaced by Walmart and there are very minor, yet ugly and tacky renovations of the floors and upper wall decorations. Cheap looking new floor tiles and some tacky wood decorations which looks like it came from the Dick's Lumber dumpster bin.  This has to be one of the saddest malls that need some major redevelopment.  How about demolishing the mall itself and build a new Lougheed Mall? The sidewalk area inside the mall is very narrow and you'll likely get bumped into. If you want the latest European fashion labels avoid this mall. If you want the latest electronics, there is a London Drugs. The two dollar a movie theatre has been gone and it's replaced by Sports Chek and there is that old Safeway beside the mall. Overall, this is the mall of the 80's and I felt like I've been transported back into a real life time machine when I walked into this mall.

Last but not least, do not parking in the covered parking area!! There are cracks in the ceiling and pieces of cement will fall on your car!! It happened to my Dad's car about 15 years ago and a big chunks of cement smashed into the hood of the car. We had to call security and security documented the incident and it took about a whole year for Lougheed Mall to compensate us for the damage to my Dad's car.

I freaking love this mall. I actually find Metrotown MADDENING and avoid it at all costs... It is like an endless labyrinth and I almost always hate shopping there. It is just way. too. big. This is perfect  - the stores are almost all within my price range - very thrifty, it has WM, of course, and London Drugs, and the Body Shop. Also, Le Chateau, La Vie en Rose for swimwear and PJ's, Payless and SMART SET.. which is probably my most favourite store at the moment. And it's all so close! Their Jacob kind of sucks,  and AE and Garage are, to me, not worth my time either. H&M in here is also not great.. I just generally really dislike that store, for the quality mostly. But to me, shopping here is the most relaxing, satisfying thing ever, and so close by. Not too many people, bike locks, Tim Horton's, grocery stores and Liquor store close by... I wish they had a pet store but meh. Now if only Sephora and F21 could scoot over this way...
