I don't go here as often as I should because I fear that I will give them all of my money. And I need my money to buy cat food and stuff. A major problem.

These guys hand-pick the best vintage clothing in town. I have many a pretty frock in my closet because of them. What's more, they also sell sweet, sweet VHS and vinyl. They also often feature art by locals... right now they have papier mache pizza slices and eyeballs mingling next to cute high heels and brogues.

The staff are always very sweet when I drop by. There is also a lovely dog there some of the time that makes your visit even better. The shop itself has such a strong personality... the decor and the little notes all around the store makes browsing there very fun. Cheers to you, Lost and Found. I should visit, soon...

Hidden in the north end of Halifax this gem.
Lost and found is an adorable vintage shop that carries one of a kind items and local art at reasonable prices.

Unlike Frenchies or value village the staff at Lost and Found hand pick all the clothing, and trust me their taste is fantastic.

Beyond vintage clothing and jewelry, Lost and found also sells tons of vinyl, tapes and classic VHS movies.

Once every few Months they host local art showings. I highly recommend you go !

I was lost, and then I was found.

This is a special space of altered frocks, vintage finds, and a flavour of locally made. Eclectic musings come together to form Lost & Found's fashionably homemade North End boutique .

The shop's mood is quiet and thoughtful, just as its clothes. Music is easy, and the store keeper sews away in a corner wooden chair. Piecing through the assorted racks, I become awe struck by the profuse selection of gorgeous things. Most times I am able to edit down final selections before the efforts of the fitting room; however, this was not the case.

The clothing variety is of impeccable taste, as every item on display is hand picked, and/or altered with special detailing. And with such reasonable pricing-- it all seems too good to be true. (A large rack dedicated to post-season sales provides some gorgeous steals!) Clothing is displayed on thick wooden hangers, and well managed framework; the result is chic and polished confines.

Divorce Records is an added bonus to the Lost & Found experience. Peek through this Halifax based label's selection for some stellar anti-industry music variety. Vinyl and CDs are for sale, and allow an opportunity to acquire new tastes, without commercial fluff. Also noteworthy: bin filled with $2 Vinyl picks. (Not Divorce Records)

Besides glass encased jewelry and vintage frames, L&F is also decorated with DIY-styled trinkets and art. The space is fused with creative energy and wholesome goodness. I heart.

My recent visit ended with the purchasing of a brilliant long sleeved crop top. With its subtle alterations-- front & back scoop neck with buttons, and adorable mini-shoulder pads + ruching-- its a dream piece. And only $18! The detailing of selections make for cool fits and one of a kind pieces.

Lost & Found offers a creative and inspiring shopping experience, indeed. The carrier and creator of all things "special", this place is now top on my list.

Lost & Found is a fun little vintage shop that stocks some really great stuff.  I just wish i was about...oh, 10 sizes smaller so I could fit into all the great clothes there. *sigh.*

Oh, well.  I guess I need to accept that only the skinny kids get to look cool.  Besides, I've heard that you're not supposed to wear stuff that you remember going by the first time around.  So, dang it, no Mary Maxim sweaters for me.

Lost & Found I thought would be just another second hand store. My mistake! This particular store, seems to have a little extra going on.

The cloths are actually from this century and some are pretty cool looking. The prices are reasonable, keeping in mind this is second hand, but they still have to survive in this dog eat dog world of retail.

A nice alliterative place that has friendly staff, funky attire and a great way to spend some time. I am sure you will come out of here with a one of a kind item.

This adorable little store is a gem. On my first trip I found two AMAZING vintage dresses, both black and extremely fitted for $5 each on the clearance rack. Usually I find that it is difficult for me to find clothing that fits me precisely and resort to alterations but these fit me to a t. Although I did do some adjustments of my own (I made one of them strapless).

They have everything from far out bright pink (XXS) leopard print shorts to eighties bathing suits and formal fifties dresses.

Prices also couldn't be better. If they don't sell the item in the first little while it immediately goes on the $5 rack. Other then that dresses average at about $30, skirts $15, tops $15-30 (the most expensive I saw was a YSL men's striped button- up for $25).

Although this store is a bit hit-and-miss, what vintage store isn't? With prices so reasonable, when you do find a gem, you feel like you've won the lottery.

Lost & Found is a great little shop with rad clothing and fun trinkets.
They often have art exhibits up, which transforms the shopping experience into a cool gallery browse as well.

They have great picks for men and women, as well as a unique assortment of local jewelry, by artists like Caitlyn Purcell.

Prices are good and the quality is top-notch. The space is fun and the lovely counter folk are helpful and chatty. Perhaps you'll find the pick of your dreams at this hip little boutique.

Funky little place full of oddities. It's definitely hit or miss for me, more so than other vintage stores for some reason. I think it's that Lost and Found stocks some pretty kooky things, which I inevitably either love or hate. On a good day, I've found amazing boys' sweaters, vintage onesies, fancy shoes, and a great striped sundress. The shop itself is great though, and much fun to explore.
