Review from Elaine K.
This is another grocery store that i hit because of proximity. It's dirty, like many Asian grocery stores, but has decent variety. It has a pretty big produce section with fresh-ish ingredients, a meat section with all the main and obscure meats that I like, as well as a decent frozen section with frozen seafood, dumplings, Chinese desserts, etc. It also has buns for bahn mi!!!
There's also a little section for medicines where someone stands at the counter and gets you stuff.
What I love most about this place is the prices. Due to proximity (I really need to move) I often find myself at Loblaws, where the price of fruit and vegetables is usually 3 times the price of this place. The only problem is, I'm only in this area once a week, and the veggies just don't hold up that long.Listed in: Life in the Grocery Lane

It's small.. it's cramped.. and you'll want to get outta here as quick as possible!
However, like all the other "tai" supermakets (there's a chain of a few in the GTA) it's got super cheap produce! My grocery bills are half the cost and I can get fresh seafood.
The only bonus is this place has got a BBQ stall as well. That means yummie roasted pork, char-sui pork, soya chicken, roasted chicken and roasted duck. I used to make the trek out here just because it had cheap sweet and sour pork too. You can get a decent boxfull for $3. It's so tough to beat.
My Tip of the Day? Bring elbow pads!Listed in: Meh!, Chinese BBQ
