I've recently begun getting my photos printed at London Drugs at the recommendations of a few photographer friends of mine. I had 8x10 family prints recently done at Costco for Christmas presents but was so disappointed when my red headed daughter didn't have "red" hair in the photos and her pale skin took on a bit of a greenish hue. I spoke with a few of my photographer friends who advised that London Drugs is one of the best and most reliable place for prints in town. Now the prices are twice that of Costco but after getting my 8x10's redone there I can see why - the paper is probably twice the thickness and the staff were exceptionally helpful and courteous in the photo department. They also run weekly promotions in the photo department that you can find out about online by signing up for their e-mails for checking their site once a week. The promotion is announced on fridays and run mondays through thursdays. I'll still order things like custom calendars likely from Costco as they are done out of house but in house prints will now be from London Drugs for me!
London Drugs is the only store I know of in Alberta where you can "coupon stack" - a term known by Extreme Couponers. While I'm not into hoarding and hardly clip coupons, I do appreciate the fact that I can use more than 1 coupon for the same item at this store (as long as they have different UPC codes). They will also ad match competitor's on top of this! As a Mom of 2 - this is a great help for items like diapers! -

Everyone needs a go-to drug store, and this one is mine. I love the location plus the store is never too busy. The best part is that the pharmacists remember who you are (I don't go regularly) and answer questions knowledgeably with helpful advice.
They have regular sales too so I like watching the flyers and then going when items I use are on sale. This location has a large selection of electronics too and the staff actually know what they are talking about so I feel comfortable asking for their advice and showing me what they mean when they respond.
I like the online photo services too. I can upload my photos online and then I am emailed when my print order is ready to pick up which is convenient.
Overall this is a great drug store, in a great location, with great staff. Plus they have great hours!
