Review from Simon K.
The only one in North Vancouver, and this one, from the outside, looks big, like department store big, and has got some good parking. Closer to the exit to Highway 1, on Lonsdale Avenue, this is your typical LD, but with a pretty small electronics department (as it seems some power is leading me to that aisle!).
I find that even though this place is spacious, it just doesn't carry as much as the LD's that I'm used to going to. And as like all LD's, they have their own specific deals, and there's not much here, probably because they know that they are the only one around the neighbourhood. But if your looking for somewhere to shop for things other than produce, come here, you'll spend a good hour. -

Ok, had to get some passport photos taken. Thankfully I brought along the little rule sheet about all the dimensions, etc. The friendly person behind the counter said she didn't need to see the sheet, as she "knew the dimensions." Ok. So she takes the picture, and tells me to come back in 5 minutes.
I wandered around the store and came back. She gave me the pictures in an envelope and asked me to pay. I opened the envelope and looked at the photos and they didn't seem like the right dimensions from what the sheet from the Passport office said.
So I asked for a ruler, measured, and it was WAAAYYY off. She said, "It isn't a problem." Um, no, it is. I don't want to send off the materials and have them rejected and have to start over.
She agreed to retake the photos and produced another set with the EXACT SAME mistaken dimensions. Sigh.....
We did it 4 times and then she finally got it right. Ugh.
I shouldn't go to a drug store to take passport photos. I should have tracked down a real photographer instead!
I was a bit bummed when I came out and noticed right across the street was a photo shop. I should have gone there!Listed in: Fool me once, shame on you.…
