This location has larger bubble tea cups than the other locations around Vancouver. And the prices are less than other bubble tea places in general.

The pearls are always perfectly sweet and not too hard, not too soft.  The strawberry slushes are great! Their pineapple slushes, not so much since they use canned pineapple.

I don't mind that it's just a small counter since I usually just do a grab-n-go anyway.  So a small counter is all that's necessary. I'll still be coming here for a basic fruit slush as long as I'm at UBC.

Ok, the name really matches.  This spot is little (it is basically a counter with some storage behind it).  They sell bubble tea.

Do you know the story of Goldilocks and the Three Little Bears?  That is how their pearls are.  Some are too hard, some are too soft, and some are just right.  Amazingly this can happen all in one serving of bubble tea.  I'm not sure exactly how they accomplish that - perhaps it is that they are trying to cook the pearls in such a small space?!?!?!  I have to say I prefer consistency in my pearls, and not to take the luck of the draw on every swig.

Kudos for using some fresh fruit for some of their drinks instead of powders.  (Powders should be banned at all bubble tea shops in my humble opinion, just like instant miso soup powder should be banned from "Japanese" restaurants)  But it pays to ask about whatever fruit based drink you may be ordering because not all of their drinks will use fresh fruit depending on what they've got in that cramped little space behind the counter.

Overall there is a lack of bubble tea in this part of the city, so if you are craving it, this is probably your best bet to satisfy that urge.
