Little Short Stop is a local chain of convenience stores located (conveniently) all over the Region of Waterloo and Guelph. There are a number of stores that have 24-hour service, but most stores do not.
This store at Westmount and Ottawa in Kitchener is only open until 11 pm on most nights, so a long walk to the nearest 24-hour store at Fischer-Hallman and Ottawa is required when the store is closed. Prices are high and selection is limited, but it is a convenience store, so that much is to be expected. Service is OK, but when it's busy there can be a long wait at the cash while the lone cashier checks you out.
When it's cold out, or when you are tired, needing to go to the 24-hour store farther away keeps me from giving this location more stars.
