Little Caesars. Hmm, I have to agree with Adam on the hit and miss.
I first tried Caesars in BC. So when we found a location here in Halifax, we tried it. Unfortunately, I do not remember it being so blah!!
We went for that special $5.00, not impressive when sitting around. Because they are pre-made, who knows how long they have been around, unless you go when busy, then you might get fresh.
If you don't expect much, you might get a nice surprise. -

I used to go here for a $5 medium pepperoni pizza when I was feeling gross and lazy, but unfortunately it closed this location several months ago.
If you're looking for pizza in the South End, I'd suggest trying Alexandra's. The prices are a lot higher, but the pizza is much better and it's just up the street from where Little Ceaser's was. -

Here's the thing - Little Ceasar's Pizza is all about timing. There is no other restaurant in the city that has more riding on getting there at the perfect time. The problem is that it's impossible to narrow down that time.
Allow me to explain.
Little Caesar's Pizza makes a great, basic pizza to go. It's cheap and big and with a little donair sauce to dip it's arguably the best pizza deal in the city...if you get it fresh. Because they deal in such high volume, Little Caesar's is constantly cooking ahead, which means if you get there at the wrong time you might be in for some old pizza.
It's the rare restaurant that you want to check out when it's especially busy. If you do you're in for a solid pizza for five dollars, if not, well...I guess you get what you should expect for that price.
