Honestly, this place is bad. The only pros are that it's open early, closes late, and is in a good location.

First problem: As soon as me and my two friends walk in, we are immediately ID'd. Now I understand getting ID'd at the till when making a purchase, but as soon as I walk in the door? That makes me feel like a criminal.

Second problem: The KID ID'ing me looked like he was barely 14 years old. I'm not kidding. I look around the store, and there is only one other KID working who probably just hit puberty.

Third problem: These kids know absolutely nothing about beer or wine.

Fourth problem: A Mission Hill Pinot Grigio was $7 higher here than at a BC liquor store. Now, I understand private liquor stores will have higher prices, but $7 higher? Come on now.

Fifth problem: We're ID'd AGAIN at the till. Ridiculous.

Go somewhere else and AVOID this place.

I just went in there with my husband to get a 80 dollar bottle of whiskey. They IDed us TO GET IN, and I happened to have forgotten my wallet. I basically had to stand outside. The employee didn't bother apologizing to me. Let me tell you - I am way over 19.
I used to go there all the time because they are on the way, but now I think I will take my business to the government liquor store down the street.
IDing people to get in is a horrible horrible customer service - it's humiliating and it makes one feel like a criminal.

I would have given a big fat ZERO rating, if I could.
Never stepping my foot there again.

Only go here if you really need to get your "drink" on, as the store is pretty big, but the selection of alcohol I would have to say is poor. The store feels like a bottle depot more than other Liquor Depot's I have been to, and do not bother asking staff what is good, as they are not knowledgeable about their wines.

The only plus of this place is that it is central to Richmond, as it is located in Landsdowne Mall and close to the No. 9 restaurant, and since it is not a government run liquor store, it has late hours for your drinking pleasure!
