Although located RIGHT BESIDE the Old Admiral Pub, this large, well stocked liquor location is entirely a separate entity. There are a few locations so perhaps there's one near you?
Open EVERY day 9am-11pm, here you'll find almost anything that strikes your fancy.
Tonight I wandered into the wine selection (OMG how to choose just one?) and settled after some time, on a Jackson Triggs Shiraz which is currently on sale at $8.99 (until July 3/10 apparently).
Yeah I got two.
The male cashier was super friendly, being both polite and prompt. (They even had my 37 year old self show my ID - which can only be a compliment)

For clarity, they seem to have two names (written all over their uniform aprons and bags): Liquor Barn and Liquor depot and two separate website addresses to match:

I stopped by this place on a Sunday after checking a few other spots close to where I'm staying. Seems many are closed on Sunday, however this one wasn't. It was nice to find a place that was well stocked and had many choices on whiskey and beers. Compared to many other places I'd been to on my trips here this place was great. Didn't hurt they had my fav whiskey on sale either.

Come here to get that hard to find liqueur, get that local/artisan/craft brew, and your VQA wines in BURNABY. This is the only private liquor store in this part of Burnaby that I know if. You can find some good deals on some wines too! And they're open late.

One of the largest Private Liquor Store in the Lower Mainland. Wide selection from Beer, Wine to Liquor! They even got a Facebook Page...Check it out, they get cool picture on it!
