First things first--I am NOT a club person. I don't like dancing, I barely like drinking, and I especially don't like club music. Why did I go then? To see my friend play his first gig with his new band at this bar!
Atmosphere was great...its large, and being Christmas time they've decorated the bar really beautifully, actually. Better looking inside than I'd anticipated.
If you don't feel like dancing, there are couches and comfy benches lining the side walls so you can just relax and people-watch. This place is GREAT for that.
My one complaint? The Security guys. I was inside early since my friend was setting up his stuff, and the bar was COLD. There was cool air coming out of the vents, and there was NO ONE else in the entire bar. A security guy comes up to me and my friend and says "You guys need to check your coats", and I was like..."Well I'm still pretty cold and I might be going in and out of the bar, so I don't want to check it yet" and he would have none of it. I said, "Well I would like to keep my jacket on because I'm cold" and he goes "Well I'm not sure what to say to that so please just check your coat". My friend in the band just let us keep our coats with his stuff. I kept my scarf on for spite (it actually was COLD). After coming back inside during the break, we head back down to the lounge (with coats on) and a security guard FOLLOWS us down the stairs and says "You guys HAVE TO CHECK YOUR COATS!" and we were like "RELAX WITH THE JACKETS...we're with the band, we'll leave them with the band" and the guard just obviously ROLLED HIS EYES at us and walked away. While inside I saw quite a few guys with their coats still, which pissed me right off.
End note? MAKE SURE TO DRESS WARMLY IN THE BAR if you go here, and bring money for forced-coat-check. ugh! -

good god! Hamilton has the famous African Lion Safari and the Liquid Kitty. Both require maneuvering through a strange landscape with some sort of protection. Both have rare jungle cats. Oh man I can keep this analogy going forever...both are pretty dirty. Both will teach you as much as you want to learn about the animal world.
Ok I'm done but seriously, this place is out of this world bad. We went there knowing this full well, two guys and 4 girls, but it was almost at the point where it was too bad to enjoy it. Like a ring of dudes leering from pervert's row, and I swear to god every single time one of our ladies got lost from the pack you'd see eyes locking on...single guys walking towards them...I had to cock block my girlfriend about seven times, hopefully she appreciates that.
Nothing good to say about the music and echo the comments about bouncers.
So if you're looking for a good bad club where you can go with a group and get down and laugh with and at people, don't go here. Oh and don't go to the African Lion Safari either! Lions do NOT belong on dingy soccer fields in southwestern Ontario. -

The below reviewer is on the money regarding "dick" bouncers. We first tryed to get in through the bar above (around last call to boot), and he got in our face stating they were already at capacity....not even close. So we went around to another entrance where we walked right in. The place is big, but basically an older crowd. It is quite a sausage market though, as dudes crowd around looking to pick up anything with a pulse. Pathetic really....however amusing at times. It kind of reminds me why I don't go to places like this much anymore.
