It is safe to say that St. Laurent Boulevard doesn't have a lot of quality bars. At night most stores on the strip are closed and finding a good place for a drink and a bite to eat can be difficult. Liam Maguires is a great option.
It is what it is: a good pub with good food and good beer.
Half pints and full pints. Domestic Beer and premium beer. this place is a safe bet all the time. The atmosphere is upscale pub, with a nice big bar, plenty of sitting room, a few comfy chairs to relax in and a huge patio. This is a perfect place to go for drinks with buddies, to watch the game, or even head to after hockey practice.
The food is a mixture of Irish inspired dishes with the classic pub food. They don't skimp on the food, and expect to bring some home since the portions are a great size.
The staff also help the establishment stand out. They tend to have great attitudes and a friendly demeanor.
It's only downside is that not much else is around it. if you're looking to hit a few bars in one night, you'll have to cab from Liam's to get to another location.
