There needs to be a place like this in NY! It's a very fun and friendly place whether you speak french or not. The alcohol was very good and they keep the popcorn coming. Everyone joins in on stage every now and then with the guys playing or singing along. If I lived in Montreal, I'd be here every night probably. I also liked that even the staff seemed friendly and not as stuffy as some of the other places were. There's a small entrance fee and it's cash only but it's all worth it.

It's a really cute place to go, even as a tourist! I can't speak French and I can understand bits and pieces of French; however, being in here it doesn't make a difference because Fun is a universal language! The only thing I did not like about this place is that they have half pitcher drinks as opposed to a normal sized pitcher. If I were to move to Montreal (which I wouldn't), I would come here to make fast friends. Everyone seemed laid back and were there to have a good time. The band did play 2 or 3 songs in English for the time we were there.
Definitely check this place out if you are around the area. It's worth it and the atmosphere is amazing. -

Poutine! Poutine! Poutine!! This is the BEST thing on the menu! We heard from many people that we couldn't leave Quebec without sampling a plate of Poutine (french fries, topped w/gravy and melted Quebec cheese). This was a french fries lovers dream come true!! That's me!! We found the place by recommendation from another restaurant on the boulevard and it hit the spot to keep us energized for our tour around the city of Montreal.
Menu is both in English and in French but caters to more of the American palate (ie. sandwich & fries). I usually try to avoid tourist traps when searching for good eats outside of the US, but this place was worth trying.....just order the Poutine as a snack and head on out and discover all the many great cafes in Montreal.
J' adore ce plat! (I love this dish!)
Note: try to snag a table on the 2nd floor, its a great way to enjoy all the people watching on the busy streets of the city.Listed in: Quebec City & Montreal CAN

Love!
This place was suggested to me by the concierge. The restaurant is adorable (inside/outside terrace) and the bar nextdoor is TONS of fun. Saw some live French Canadian music, people there were great. Beer was cheap, waiters attentive. Had a blast. A very strong "GO!" to anyone passing through town! -

cute, slightly touristy place.. the staff kept weirdly singing to "hit the road jack" and other random tunes. This was entertaining/odd, but we enjoyed our food (No surprise chicken wrap and a pesto chicken wrap). Both were VERY good.
I would eat here again.
PS- This place needs to make their own ranch! Homemade, buttermilk ranch dressing.
