Been here several times. How can you leave in Houston and not visit few of these ? Now not every time I been here was great. What made me write a review is the service this morning. My 3 year old and the 19 year old wanted to have breakfast so we went.  The server recommended mini cakes for the younger one and just an egg.  We ordered the real stuff.  food was delicious.  sausage is nice and spicy and home potatoes were perfectly cooked. It was so unusual to get perfect service we even ordered more sausage to go for MOM.  Somehow perfect service, made us wanting more and we wanted for MOM to experience good service as well.  When you put in a 100 you will get the same back !  Good job Le peep .
The huge complaint! i do not like onions or peppers.  Please add them to the descriptions of your dishes on the menu.
    Very happy customer.

This location is awfully small compared to the Westheimer location, which made for a longer than usual wait.

I find the Westheimer location to be hit or miss...lately, it's been a miss, but this location was surprisingly spot on!!  I ordered my usual, the lumberjack, and requested my potatoes extra crispy.  For once, it came out extra crispy!!  The pancakes were also remarkably better than I remembered.  The server was very attentive and friendly.  I'd choose Le Peep over the nearby Egg & I or Denny's.

What a cute little breakfast spot. The food is cool but not the best. I did enjoy the pancakes. They were light and fluffy as they should be, the choices for the meal that I had, the Lumberjack, whole wheat or buttermilk pancakes. My first impression was the whole wheat would be hard and taste like cardboard but I was pleasantly surprised. They also have turkey sausage for those of your who don't do the swine. And lastly they have sugar-free syrup, not as good as the real stuff.

One thing that was absolutely stellar was the staff. Super friendly manager and waitstaff. Although the food is so-so I would just go back for them.

Classic Benedict: 2/5 - The poached eggs were runny & the dish was bland.
Omni Omelette: 2/5 - The bacon, sausage, & smoked ham omelette looked very good, but was bland as well.

So I had a chance to go back again after the manager personally corresponded with me about my experience. Now THAT is what I call customer service! Went back again with hubby and it was a really good experience. Still not sold on the decor, but my-oh-my, the food was really good this time. Hubby got waffles+spanish omellete and coffee and I got migas with OJ.  The waffles were just right, golden to perfection and slightly crunch outside and soft inside. The eggs came out fluffy, the coffee was freshly brewed and strong. I don't know if my previous experience was an anomaly. I'll admit I was reluctant to go back again, but I felt it wasn't fair of me to judge the place on just one visit especially when it is obvious they care about their customers enough to want feedback. And I am so glad I did. Will definitely be going again.

Le Peep is not a mom and pop place since they have many locations around the US, but you would think they were if you ate here.
The environment feels nothing like a Denny's or IHOP. The employees here are really friendly. I remember hearing our waitress go to another table and wish a customer a happy birthday. It seemed like they were regulars.
My bf and I may become regulars too after tasting the plain pancakes that were so good you don't really need to add syrup. I wish I could have finished them!

When my old high school friend, who I hadn't seen in almost 3 years, asked to have breakfast, my first thoughts were, "ughhh, IHOP." However, she told me to meet her at this quaint, little spot close to where we live.

DELICIOUS Southern Eggs Benedict. I've had eggs benedict before and order it at every chance I get. When my plate arrived, I was impressed by the size and speed I received my food! The bits of bacon sprinkled on top of the huge plate made my morning that much better. As I took my first bite, I nearly drooled everywhere because it was so mouth-watering good! So much flavor, so warm, so perfect. The sauteed potatoes on the side was so flavorful. There was so much food, I sadly have to say, I couldn't finish it. I tried, I honestly tried, but the buttons on my pants would have popped off.

Love LePeep!  Especially this location.  The servers are always nice and welcoming.  They seem to want to make sure you get full and enjoy your meal...which you don't always get at some eateries in this price range.  The omelets are always cooked just right and their waffles are to die for.  Basically anything on their breakfast menu is worth a try.  I have never had anything else besides breakfast, so I can't speak on their other menu items.  But I don't know why anyone would go to LePeep for anything besides breakfast anyway.

While it's not my favorite place EVAR for breakfast, their breakfast puts IHOP to shame.  They also have some of the friendliest service!

On my most recent visit, I went with the Day Breaker plate:  scrambled eggs, diced tomatoes, chopped bacon, mushrooms and green onions, sprinkled with the right amount of cheese.  It was accompanied by an english muffin (easily subbed a whole wheat one) and some freakin awesome herbed potatoes.  I'd go there just for the potatoes alone.  The eggs were great, with the perfect egg to veggie/meat/cheese ratio.  *Sigh*  The english muffin was delish, and buttered.  I "forgot" to ask for it dry.  Oops!

I've always been a fan of their whole wheat pancakes made from scratch, too.  Mmmm!  I just wanted one pancake to go with my bfast plate, though, and it took up the whole plate and was impossible to finish.  It was good, but that was way too much food, even for a famished appetite.

Their fresh squeezed orange juice is delicious, too!  Sad to say, I'd never had plain and simple orange juice from anything but a box or frozen can.  I was pleasantly surprised how refreshing it was!  Props to them for not "oversugaring" it.

During prime bfast hours, you might have to wait a bit.  The wait goes fairly fast, though.  In the 9-10 am range, we waited less than 15 mins.  Prices are pretty reasonable, too--I got all that food for ~$13 with tax and tip.  I would definitely pick this place over IHOP (and their gargantuan portions) any day!

I had to pick my mom up from an appointment at memorial hospital pretty nearby on Monday morning. Le peep was a quick and convenient option without the wait time of Denny's or ihop. Not too hungry, I just ordered a plain waffle. Really quick to get our food. I would go back again if I dont wanna drive anywhere far for a quick brunch and try one of their egg white Benedict options.

I had an omelet and it was well cooked and delicious.  I wrote the draft of this review on my iphone and by the time I got to the computer to finalize it, I forgot what was in the omelet.  However the service was first rate.  I'd rate them a cut above The Egg and I across I10.

Fantastic omelettes and Belgian waffles! The waffle was so crisp and perfectly cooked; I could have easily eaten three portions. I split the Florentine omelette (stuffed full of spinach, swiss cheese and mushrooms) with my friend and still, we could barely finish it. Service is prompt and friendly and I daresay, this is my favorite place for breakfast!

Today me and my boyfriend decided to stop by and check out LePeep Restaurant. At first we imagine it to be like La Madeline, but it wasn't. We went in sat and was sited to a table my our server name Markests. We order two glass of fresh squeeze orange juice, bendicts, chicken-mushroom pasta, and a cup of bake potato soup. The bendicts was o.k, it was good but not amazing. The chicken-mushroom pasta with spanish was the best pasta I have eaten in Houston, it was creamy, the pasta was a good brand, the mushroom and Spanish is fresh, and the sauce was amazing, and it came with the perfect piece of bread and a side caesar salad with fresh grinned cheese.  The bake potato soup was o.k, but not favorite, the soup was very creamy and thick. So out of everything the pasta and the fresh squeeze orange juice was the best. Ohh and our server Markests was one of the most amazing waiter I seen out of all the servers I meet at different restaurant. He remember our name, made sure our food came out in time, interact with us, made our lunch a good experience, and check up on us a lot. After my experience here I would definitely come back.

This is by far my favorite place for breakfast.  I love this restaurant and love the fact that it is so close to where I live.  The food is great and the service is impeccable.  In fact, I have to say that the wait staff at this location is much better than at several so called upscale restaurants.  A few days ago I was almost disappointed and thought I would never come back again.  We arrived mid morning and there was a 15 min wait.  By the time it was our turn to be seated, we see that a party that arrived after us was being seated.   We decided to leave; I was very disappointed as this had been my favorite breakfast spot for quite some time.  The manager realized what had happened and approached us in the parking lot as we were getting ready to leave.  She explained that there had been a confusion and sincerely apologized for what had happened.  I was pressed with time that day, so we still left.  However, the fact that she came out of the restaurant to talk to us and apologize left a good impression in me.  We returned the following day; I had the Houstonian (which is my new favorite), and my husband had the Mushroom and Swiss burger.  This is the first time we ordered something from the lunch menu. The burger was just awesome and the fries were crispy and delicious.  When we asked for the check, the waitress told us that she did not have a check for us.  Our meal was complimentary due to the incident the previous day.  It was very nice of the manager to do that.  Mistakes happen but it is good business practice to show a genuine interest in the customer's overall experience. I have noticed her during my previous visits; she always has a smile on her face, always very nice, and seems to  truly enjoy what she does, which is key in running a successful business.  I am happy to say that this remains my favorite breakfast spot.

their pancakes aren't anything to rave about but the rest of their menu is. their feta feta omelette is amazing. i like that they have a turkey sausage option. The staff is very friendly.  The restaurant has an extremely comfortable atmosphere and is a sweet change from denny's or ihop.

I never eat breakfast. 1 because I never wake up in time for breakfast or brunch for that matter... some days not even lunch, but anyway, thats the first reason. 2, I love breakfast foods, but they always leave a heavy feeling on my stomach for the rest of the day. Well somehow, my friend got me to wake up at 8:30 on a Saturday to try to catch a free movie screening, only to be found at the end of a 400 person line filled with 6 year olds and their parents. Needless to say we didn't get to see the movie but it was now 10:30.. so we went to this little place to eat. I had the Omni Omelette and it was awesome! I really like it haha. Their sausage is very good (that's what she said) and I was a fan of their potatoes and english muffin! Service was not memorable, the waittress forgot our stuff once and hardly gave us any notice but it was a nice little place with good food. If I ever wake up in time for breakfast or brunch again I will surely try to go here!
