Review from Dona F.

This is the best Thai food in Charlottetown. While it can't stand up to the likes of more traditional Thai restaurants that you find in big international cities, its a great addition to the lack of variety in Charlottetown. I haven't been disappointed yet...but remember to bring cash, no cards accepted.

Review from Beth K.
The first night my friend and I went looking for this place, we walked right past without even noticing it. (We ate at the Italian place across the street instead.) The second night, while heading somewhere else, we saw the teeny-tiny sign in the window, saw a couple people inside, and decided to give it a try.
There was nothing wrong with the food; it was absolutely average. My friend and I both had the pad Thai with chicken, and it was no better or worse than the pad Thai I've had anywhere else. I ordered mine very mild, but it was still spicy enough for me to guzzle my entire glass of water. Then I sat and hoped for a refill. It didn't happen.
The restaurant is a bit odd. I gather they do most of their business in takeout: While we were dining, quite a few people came in to pick up orders. The dining room is just a few tables with plastic tablecloths and folding chairs. A single picture hanging on the wall in the only decoration. You place your order at the counter around the corner from the dining room, then take a seat and your food is brought to you. When you are done you get up and pay at the counter. No one checked on us while we were eating, although the girl at the counter was quite friendly. Being from California, where we are sometimes over-served in restaurants, I was not used to the payment system (the waiter doesn't bring the bill to you!), but we encountered this in most of the other restaurants we ate at in PEI, so I guess it's typical.
If you're in the mood for Thai, you could do worse. If I lived in Charlottetown, I'd prefer eating in the comfort of my own home than in the restaurant. But the price was decent and the food was perfectly adequate. -
Review from Jack O.
I'll preface this review by stating I am not from PEI. Rather, I am visiting from a modest-sized midwestern American city.
My wife and I looked at each other stunned before even before entering because we could see, through the glass, the place was furnished with patio furniture. It was also completely empty. But, we were meeting some friends, so we stayed. When our friends arrived, we were asked to walk to the counter to view the menu posted on the wall. They do not print menus. After we placed our order, we returned to our patio furniture and waited for our food. We were very promptly served Chinese egg rolls, even though we ordered Thai spring rolls. They were very oily. Later, our main courses were brought out. We had to ask for plates. The woman brought three. There were four of us. I asked her if these were the only three plates in the restaurant. She then asked if we wanted a fourth. I said yes. She promptly brought us a fourth plate. Our egg rolls were served with forks, so we needn't ask for utensils. All but one of us ordered water, which was served at the beginning of the meal, but never again. Fortunately, there was a water cooler near the counter where we could fill our glasses when we became thirsty. The food was okay if you are happy with Thai dishes cooked in a Chinese style by Chinese people while listening to Chinese pop music. If you hope for fresher vegetables and meats more typical of a good Thai restaurant, then you will be disappointed. We do not like Chinese food. Therefore, we did not like their food. All of this would have been fine (ie 2 stars) if we had paid $5 or $6 per person. With tax and tip ($0) included, the total came to $11.50 per person.
Pluses: Fast service; we didn't get sick.
Minuses: BYOT (bring your own tableware); overpriced faux thai food.
