Honestly one of the worst shopping experiences I've ever had. I brought my brother to the Lenscrafters in Southgate, planning to buy him a pair of sunglasses for his birthday. While we were "helped" in a prompt enough manner, the young lady assisting us was neither competent nor interested, making it seem like a genuine chore. Initially, she told us that Lenscrafters doesn't use the uniform ID codes issued by the manufacturer (seemingly to avoid looking anything up on the computer). After establishing (based on the clearly marked labels on their products) that they DO in fact use this system, she did a perfunctory computer check before declaring that they don't have (and apparently can't get) that model.
That stuff was simply some lazy customer service, but the overt hostility of her co-worker, who offered to "help" us (I think she thought we were trying to steal something), and simply stood around staring at us with an accusatory look while we waited for her coworker, was rather off-putting.
Worst staff ever.
