Lee's Nails is just a small shop on Quinpool, distinguishable only by the ridiculous 80's era decals on the store front windows. My boyfriend and I have made it a habit to imitate the cartoon ladies, delicately flashing their newly polished digits, as we pass. I never thought I would ever have to frequent Lee's, I keep my nails fairly short, apply my own polish and I'm not a fan of fake nails (after a gel nail incident a few years back).
The weekend before my class ring ceremony I was playing a game of pickup basketball with a few friends and broke two nails (I had grown them out specifically for this ceremony). I was having a major nail crisis, so I went to Lee's without an appointment, with little hope that I could even see someone, let alone fix my poor nails. I was pleasantly surprised ten minutes later when I was getting my hands massaged. An hour later I was on my way with two fake nails and fresh polish. The whole visit only cost me $50, which is a great price for such efficient and satisfactory service.
Hot Hint: If you are a fan of manicures and pedicures but not a fan of the possibility of contracting bacterial infections (as can happen when salons don't properly sterilize their equipment) you can bring your own tools, or buy some for cheap at Lee's. -

My GF is a big fan of Lee nails on Quinpool and she always requests Kevin to do her nails. When I went to with her one Saturday I was very surprised to the whole progress just to get your nails done. For $30 a fill every almost 2 weeks and that is not the starting cost of $40-$50 to put a set on I was like WOW, I should be in this business.
As well the whole cleaning thing find of turned me off due to sanitary reasons which I will not go there. But hey she loves the place and continues to go each and every time. For me I will continue to go oh natural.
