I think Lee House is great; fast friendly service, clean, nice and simple decor, good food for the price.
My favourite is the Nakji or Squid Bokkeum; just the right amount of spice! -

Tucked away in the corner, it's easy to miss Lee House. This little Korean restaurant retains a very old school Asian vibe that makes you feel proud to sit down and give this gem a chance.
It looks like the staff are ran by a family and the service is extremely fast.
Our orders literally took five minutes to start arriving.
What's even more surprising is we had a friend that arrived extremely late so we ordered a rice dish with sliced vegetables, sauce, and a fried egg on top. It literally took two minutes to come out. I've never seen food dish out so quickly
My favorite dish of the evening was flavored crispy chicken balls which had a spicy and salty sauce glaze. Being sober, it was addicting to pop them in my mouth with a scoop full of rice. I'm sure if I had a few drinks, it would taste like a 13 out of 10. It's really good!
The beef and cabbage stir fry was also above average as well as the kim chi pork soup.
The egg seafood pancake was a little on the bland side, however.
Although I found the dishes a little bit on the greasy side, I left feeling extremely satisfied and the price was decent as well: about $21.00. -

Lee House is just OK for me. I know many people like it, and I will give it a try again, ordering the dishes I have read about here on Yelp. I haven't given up on it yet!
I ordered the Bi Bim Bap last night and though the service was fast and friendly, I will dissapointed that the meal mainly consisted of rice with very little veggies. They did include a LOT of kimchee which I love, but when compared with my favourite Bulgogi House resteraunt, this Bi Bim Bap paled in comparison. Bulgogi offers non stop kimchee at no extra cost which is hard to beat.
I will try a different dish next time. I have to give Lee House props for being open on a Sunday though! I was hungry and the food was fast and at the very least fresh. -

**First review, GO Yelp Canada!**
We, a party of 9, made reservations to eat at Lee House last night. Some of those who had been there before recommended that us newcomers eat there, so we had a gathering.
With that gathering we got to sample at least 6-8 things on the menu.
First I'll start with the tea. It was a light-ish tea, despite its heavy odour. I really should have been thinking about sleeping last night before I had 4 cups of it and a Coke with dinner.
I can't even begin to describe how authentic and tasty their food is. Everything from the bbq chicken to the terryaki chicken, to the noodle dishes and the seafood pancakes was great. There was stuff that I can't remember the name of, but we definitely had some great Kimchi with it all.
Despite it being a busy restaurant, the food was out quickly. At one point there was a line of people waiting to be seated. This really is a hole-in-the-wall type of place. By the time we were ready to leave, we were the only table of non-Asians in the entire place. Tell me that's not a good sign.
The service staff was very friendly and attentive, and seemed to have no problem splitting the bill up when the time came.
Prices were modest and I think including a good tip we got out of there for an average of $17.50 per person. We were *stuffed.* -

I was a little disappointed with Lee House, as the portions were a bit stingy for the price. The bbq beef is pretty good, chewy and tender, but we only got about four ribs on the entire plate. We had the sweet pork as well, which was also tasty, but the vegetables in the dish were also few. I will say though that the kimchi was awesome, with just enough kick to it.
The restaurant is very small, tiny in fact. But the service is fast and friendly. They also have a big flat-screen TV on one wall where everyone can watch it, just in case you like to watch while you're eating.
Overall however, Lee House is one of those restaurants you can be glad you sampled, and might reconsider after awhile. For me though, I'm just glad I wasn't left wondering what if. -

I only get 1 thing here - Korean "home style" fried chicken. The sauce is a bit spicy and sweet and the chicken is super crispy. I'm not sure how they make it but I suspect the chicken is fried first, then tossed in a super hot wok with the sauce - heat on the sweet sauce could caramelize the sauce on the outside of the chicken creating another crispy layer. Yum!
My wife is vegetarian so it's also good from the perspective that it has lots of vegetarian dishes as well - vegetable pancake, bibimbap with no meat, etc.
