History
Established in 1958
When Ed Leavens founded Leavens Motors in 1958, he didn't know he was starting a family tradition. Now, with his son Chris as president and daughter Kelly as part of the team, Ed is proud of a family business that has been selling cars to happy customers for over 50 years.
Meet the Business Owner: Chris L.
Chris Leavens is the owner and Dealer Principal of Leavens Volkswagen. The oldest son of Ed Leavens in London Ontario, he grew up in the automotive business. He started washing cars at the age of fourteen and his passion for cars lead him to the Canadian Automotive Institute at Georgian College. Chris has worked for Chrysler, Ford, Mazda and GM before joining Leavens Volkswagen in 1992. He became General Manager in 2000 and Dealer Principal a few years later.
