    This place is STUNNING!
They go out of their way to give you the best of everything.
The rooms are not just rooms they are suites.
The JR. Penthouse is absolutely beautiful. The king sized bed could have fit 4 of me. The robes are soft the bathroom is huge and the Aveda products they give you are definitely nicer than your average hotel products.
The double balconies were also a huge win. Nothing to pretty to look at just office towers of downtown Vancouver but it was nice to have all that space for fresh air.
The crazy part is it's not more expensive than your average hotel really, when it comes to downtown Vancouver. But you get a whole lot more than you would get somewhere like the Marriot for example.
Wonderful hotel I can't wait to stay there again one day!!

Beautiful cozy hotel!  It has really warm feeling about it.  Everything is so....yellow.
Just pull up in your car at the front door and there's a valet.
It always smells so nice at the front door.  Very friendly staff!

Yay, a first to review in Canada!! Who woulda thunk it!

Sooooo, this hotel is awesome. I came here a few years with my then BF and it was spectacular. Lots of warm, rich colors. A super comfy bed (if ya know what I'm sayin') and views of the city that were awesome. To prove how cool this hotel was, I was blessed with a fantastic case of food poisoning and forced to spend more time in the room than i wanted to, but I still loved my time here. It's also in a great location, that's close to restaurants and shopping and if you come here during the Vancouver no tax sales week, oooooh boy, you will be set!

This is easily my favourite hotel in Vancouver.

I booked a room for my 19th birthday, and ended up getting the corner suite, so I had the two GIANT balconies. The room is beautiful - lots of golds and pinks in the colour scheme, with really luxurious looking decor. I felt like royalty!

The staff are friendly, and because it's a smaller hotel, are able to offer really personalized service.

After the first night, we wanted to stay a second, but sadly they couldn't keep us in the same room, so they offered us a free upgrade to a junior penthouse suite! That pretty much cemented my love for them, right then and there.

The suite was BEAUTIFUL. Oh my gosh. A huge bed, huge TV, huge balcony, huge glass shower...just gorgeous. The Aveda products they give you are nice, too.

Overall I loved it and can't wait to stay there again!

Just returned from the City of Glass and what a trip!  Le Soliel is top notch!  Lucky me, Patrick booked the corner suite with not 1, but 2, private balconies!  View of the street and downtown was very cool for our first time in the city.  They were even taping a TV show in lobby later that night!  Aveda products, massaging shower heads, plush robes, comfy bed.  All GREATLY appreciated after the motorcycle ride from Seattle.  The staff is just as nice as the accommodations- although they did attempt to valet park the Harley!
HAHA! Very funny, now hand over that garage door opener.
Yes, they did seem at a loss over the leather jackets and boots, but they recovered quickly.  Very helpful and polite all the way around.  Walking distance to Robson Street and downtown sights.  Would definitely stay there again!
